Awesome food and atmosphere 12/20/2009

I was so full when I left, but we would have gone the next night if they had been open on Sundays! The food was unbelievable and all the servers serve all the tables so you're never close to being empty on anything. Superb dining!! Pros: Delicious food, great service Cons: Tiny restaurant, may be a wait more

Great Authentic Itialian restaurant 6/4/2008

Unfortunately this amazing restaurant has gone out of business. Places like this are so much better than the over priced commercial fake itialian food such as Olive Garden. Pros: Homemade authentic italian food, great staff, free meal on birthday Cons: out of business more

BEST ITALIAN FOOD 11/2/2007

I am pharma rep, so I am constantly placing large orders at different restaurants to have catered to my hospitals. The manager brought the food and helped set-up everything (he was on time and professional). He is a walking example of customer service. The food was amazing to say the least...large portions...and everything was homemade. This is why I like to support GREAT MOM AND POP places as opposed to chains. We had the lasagna (WHICH WAS GREAT), the eggplant parm. (for my vegetarians), and the manicotti. The bread is like no other; ROLLS with FRESH GARLIC and the salad was fresh. The dessert is to die for (all of my nurses that were on diets including me found a reason to exempt that day)...tiramisu, red velvet, cheesecake, and coconut cake?EVERYTHING WAS EXCEPTIONAL?the portions were soo large that the nurses and Doctors had food to take home. I scored major brownie points with this luncheon. \r If you are looking for REAL Italian food come here!!!\r Pros: Customer Service, FOOD, Portions, Dessert more

It's really that good! 9/6/2007

I have never read reviews on a restaurant and everyone was excellent. I had to see for myself. They were right....It's really that good that I had to write my first review. I went out for ladies nite, It was 10 of us and no one had any complaint. Everything was perfect from the greeter there to sit me, the patient and wonderful service, and the tasty food. I can't wait to go back with my husband and maybe even my kids. Pros: No wait even on Friday evening more

Lunch with Beth! 4/27/2006

My boss and I went to Serafino for lunch. The ambience was pleasant the staff was polite and professional. Now to the food - the garlic rolls were some of the best I've had - plenty of fresh garlic and soft. Calamari - seemed like it was processed like tiny breaded shrimp or something, but the marinara sauce was worth it. The complimentary salad was very fresh with a delicious dressing. By the time my entree arrived, I was stuffed but had to have a forkful of my lasagna good. I also had to have a fork full of my boss dish Ravioli All Aragosta. very light dish in a cream sauce. I will definitely be returning to Sarafino for lunch and most importantly, will be taking my family there to enjoy those garlic rolls more

Move Over, Olive Garden!! 2/18/2006

I was very impressed with my first visit to Serafino. The garlic rolls were very tasty, and the salad was superb as well. Our server was Italian, and was very helpful with our questions about the menu items we weren't familiar with. Portions were huge! I had the Red Snapper Exotica. I had enough to take home and reheat for dinner the next night. It takes guts to open an Italian restaurant right across from the Olive Garden. Now that I've tried it, I can see why they had the confidience to do it! Worth the drive! A Must-Try!! Pros: Authentic Italian, Exceptional Service, Excellent Value Cons: Only One Location, No Substitutions more

Great Italian food 7/14/2005

This is the best Italian restaurant that I have had the pleasure of dining at. The food is so fresh and very authentic. There are many choices on the menu, so everyone should be pleased. more

fantastic restaurant 6/16/2005

My boyfriend took me to this restraunt last night. I have always gone to Olive Garden or Johnny Carinos but this was great. the gentelman at the door that greeted us was Itialian love the accent and so polite. the wait staff the bus boys everyone was so nice and helpful. the food was out of this world. the salad was diffrent for me. i usually have the normal lettuce and tomatoe and onion with itialian dressing. there salad will knock your socks off. and the food. i had the Itialian Capri combo and it was so good. and so much i could only eat half the plate. i would recommend to everyone to try this restraunt for a change and then you will want to go back. enjoy wanda sue of riverdale Pros: people, food, location more

Autentico 5/2/2005

The absolute best Italian food I have had in years, definitely in the south. The fish, shrimp, and the sauce was seasoned to perfection, kidos to the chef! The creme brulee was out of this world, and so creamy. When you add a glass of lambrusco your meal is complete. Pros: ambience, good parking, reasonably priced more

Stuart Turner 11/11/2004

I am not much of an Italian food eater, but this is hands down the best Italian food I have ever eaten, the meat is tender and juicy and the sauces are all prepared fresh that day. The service was excellent, and the owner (Chris) is one of the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. I would recomend Serafino's to anyone. Pros: Menu Selection, Excellent Desserts more

Serafino 6/1/2004

Serafino has the best authentic italian food I've ever had. We had the pleasure of meeting the ""master"" of their kitchen who, actually being from Italy, (what a wonderful thing, because most cooks in italian restaurants seem to be from the Atlanta area) took great pride in our praises. I would highly recommend this restaurant - it's well worth travelling to the south side (Morrow-southlake area) to enjoy. Pros: superb menu, attentive servers, excellent desserts more
