I was referred to Dr. Galea by one of my neighbors - he has treated her dogs for many years. Pros: Early hours to escape the wait more

On my first visit I sat and waited for over 40 minutes in a patient room before the vet came in the check on my dog. I was close to leaving but I was continually assured that they would ""be right there"". With that said, I was happy with both vets and agreed to have them perform surgery on my dog. The day of the surgery I dropped her off at 8:00 in the morning only for her to sit until 6:30 that night when they were finally able to perform the operation. When I stopped in to pick her up the doctor was not available and I was sent home with little information and no options to ask any questions. As I mentioned in the header, this experience hasn't been any different than any other vet that I've been to. I'm a little shocked to read all of these other rave reviews for follow-up. We paid way too much for the operation for an average experience.. Pros: Ample parking, nice new building, great location Cons: Poor Follow-up, long wait times, little concern shown from doctor more

I chose Dr. Galea based on the reviews and I'm so glad I did! I finally found a great vet, who treated my dog really nice and who doesn't try to talk you into treatments that are not necessary. It seems like he really cares about the animals and not about the money! Pros: great vet, friendly staff, nice facility more

I take my dog here for routine medical care - we have received good care and do not feel that we we are being soaked for unnecessary tests or expenses. After having his teeth cleaned, they called the next day to check how he was doing- nice touch. Really nice new facility at corner of Culver and Sepulveda. Pros: good medical care Cons: if there is an emergency case, you may have to wait a while more

I recently moved to the area and went to Sepulveda Animal Hospital based on the Citysearch reviews. I was not disappointed. I felt very comfortable with the office staff, as well as with Dr. Galea. My dog was the best behaved she has ever been at a vet -- all of the staff treated us with respect and friendliness. I felt as if they all truly cared about my dog's health. I love the doctors at this vet. Dr. Galea especially is very gentle and caring with our cats. They take great care of all animals and are always very open about the options and possibilities. more

I have two dogs and two cats, and was recommended to Dr. Galea by my dog walker. I have had last minute emergencies that the staff has stayed open late to accomodate, and have received follow up calls days after my visits to check on their recovery, which in my experience with vets is unusual. I feel confident about the way they diagnose and treat my pets. Dr. Galea is incredibley honest and up front about what's going on with my animals health, and I pass on his name whenever anyone asks now. Pros: experienced, honest, kind more

It is hard to find a Vet that you trust and who goes the extra mile to make you feel secure - Dr. Galea and the other vets and staff are all wonderful and I know that my pets are well taken care of. more
