Loved the food! 2/8/2012

This was the first time my boyfriend and I tried Thai food. I know I loved what i got and he was happy too. The only bad thing i can say about this restaurant is that it was very hard for my bf to get into the place. He is in a wheelchair. I was impressed though that one of the workers did help him in the door. more

Sen Thai........in one word...... "Extraordinary!" 12/9/2007

My best friend, growing up, and his family moved here from Thailand. I spent 14 years of my life eating Thai food weekly if not daily. That being said, I am very particular when it comes to restaurants in general; but Thai restaurants get much more scrutiny than most. Alright, now that we have talked about my past, lets jump to the present. Last night, my girlfriend and I had our virgin experince with Sen Thai. It was excellent! The meal began with the Singha Platter. It was very good. I felt the coconut shrimp and corn todmun were superior to the other items in the platter. Although, along with the sauces, they all complimented each other well. I then dove into a bowl of Tom Yum soup. It was also good and finished it off like a kid drinking it from the bowl. On to the main course. My girlfriend had the Pad Cashew Nut w/chicken. She liked it and that is all she had to offer. She brought home her left overs, so she must have liked it. I had the Lad Prik Sod w/seafood medley. It was tasty. I asked for it as hot as they could make it and it was perfect. It was hot, yet allowed the taste to flow through the heat. The heat did not overpower the taste buds. We were full, yet as dad always said, "Ice cream fills the cracks in your belly!" For dessert, we had the Mango Ice Cream.....mmmmmmmmmm.........I mean it was ice cream, so you can not go wrong there. It was a wonderful feeling all the way down soothing the heat from the meal. The meal was made even better by the amazing service we encountered. My drink was always topped off and food was prompt, yet they made sure you were finished with one course before moving to the next (very important to me). The servers SMILED like they were just as happy to be there as we were. I am sure the restaurant reads these reviews, so "THANK YOU" again! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will be back! I am looking forward to it! Thanks for taking the time to read my review! Take Care! Pros: Excellent service! Excellent food! Cons: Only con, I wish it was closer to my house! more

good food 8/16/2007

I have only tried Thai food 3 times, but I know good food. This is good food. The drunken noodles are fantastic. I would like to try everything, but i just have to have the drunken noodles again, so it may be a few visits before I venture into another dish. Pros: great food Cons: sort of pricy more

pleasant dining experience 8/2/2006

My husband and I seek out Thai food wherever we travel. In short, we liked this place and would return if we lived here. We started with the fresh summer rolls with shrimp. Although I would have preferred cabbage to iceberg lettuce in the wrap, the flavors were nicely balanced and the dish well prepared. The Tom Yum soup was really tasty and the Tom Ka soup okay...I've had better Tom Ka elsewhere. The entres, Drunken Noodles with seafood and Three Kings with seafood were both very good. The white bread toast points and peanut sauce, while not inventive, serve the purpose of dampening the heat of the dishes if you find them spicy. We were here mid-week for dinner so the place was not crowded. The service was prompt. Pros: good food Cons: just the walk to get here more

Never Go There 7/28/2006

I went there twice with my friends. \r \r The first time, all of us except 1 were charged twice. We contacted the owner but she wasn't forthcoming to investigate it. Her explanation is that they were having computer problem. We finally had to call our credit card bank to resolve it. -- Lots of hassle!\r \r The second time, I went there with a different group. We were charged 18% service fee on the check without being told. I have never heard of service charge at any local restaurants!\r \r So don't go there. Pros: Exotic Decoration Cons: Dishonesty more

Good Asian food /w clean Western presentation 2/2/2006

Sen Bistro offers very diverse choice of Asian food in clean and modern atmosphere with authentic Thai flavor. It's located in Shell building in downtown, in the middle of Loft district. Parking can be a problem if you are in the middle of the dining hour. I've tried it for lunch and for dinner on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend checking this place out. more
