Janice M.\r \r Thank God for this good, wonderful doctor! Literally saved my hopelessly addicted ( to Dilaudid) husband's life. Helped me get off four psychiatric medicines for depression and put me on a newer safer one which works with no weight gain.\r Great marital therapist too which helped both of us cope with our marriage better.\r If you suffer from depression, anxiety or pain pill addiction you can't find a better doctor. more

I've been treated by Dr. Sekhon for about 8-9 years. It started off with my brother who has Asperger's syndrome. Dr. Sekhon was the first psychiatrist who correctly diagnosed it and treated it. My brother is able to function pretty well. I developed depression over my parents' divorce and my brother's problems. Dr. Sekhon has been like a father to me. He's helped me with advice, therapy, and antidepressants. We think highly of him as our family doctor, though he's a psychiatrist. more

Dr. Sekhon is a wonderful human who literally saved my husband's life. After a 10 year opiate addiction, 3 hospitalization and bad depression , we were referred to this doctor by our PCP.\r He listened, made a very practical treatment plan, and helped both of us with therapy. Suboxone and Prozac also helped a great deal.\r I recommend this kind and caring doctor completely to anyone \r \r \r more

This doctor is so caring he visits me in my ALF regularly. I stopped seeing him in his office as I\r am now bed ridden with M.S. He has been a pillar of support for me and my husband. I don't see a future for me; My doctors have given me an year. I have to thank this doctor for faithfully visiting me, watching over my psychiatry medicines, comforting my pain and helping my whole family deal with this tragedy that gets all of us. more

This psychiatrist really cares about his patients. My whole family has seen him off and on for years. My dad, my grandpa , my brother and I. He is very patient, comforting and extremely good wit therapy and medications. I've seen other psychiatrist who just prescribed this or that, with no benefit. Dr. sekhon did wonders with a combination of Pristiq, Depakote and Suboxone for me.\r Very good MD more

Ashley M.\r I saw this doctor for my son who has ADD and an Oxycodone problem. His diagosis and treatment with Adderall/Trileptal/Suboxone was spot on!\r We had tried 2 other psychiatrists before with no success.\r This doctor is very well read, caring and gives you counselling and feedback.\r I recommend him highly. more

Steve S.\r Saw this doctor for depression, pain pill addiction and brain injury. He has helped a lot. He is very professional and knows a lot about medical treatments. He tried me on a few meds and now I'm doing much better.\r He took the time to meet with the whole family and explain our family issues well.\r I think he's a really good psychiatrist, but he's not easily manipulated by addicts.\r Some of the reviews look like they're coming from text book addicts who were unhappy they did'nt get the pill they wanted.\r more

This doctor is excellent.I'm saddened that the lady below commented in a very inappropriate manner about this good doctor.\r We took both my son and grandson to him for help with mood swings and opiate addiction. He was very professional , spent a lot of time expaining the addiction disease and treatment. He treated my son with Topamax and my grandson with Suboxone. They are well on the road to recovery. We are grateful that the Good Lord introduced this nice, humble doctor to us.\r I feel sorry for the lady below and hope she gets help before its too late more

Dr. Sekhon is the first psychiatrist who treated my daughter with compassion and patience. She was a hard core oxycodone addict with terrible depression at death's door. We were desperate after two failed rehabs and three doctors.\r Today an year later she is in full recovery and going to Nursing School. He still monitors her Suboxone and Celexa.\r He is a good and caring doctor, gave us our daughter back. more

The positive reviews on this site are fabricated by this doctor and his employees. They are false.\r \r This so-called psychiatrist has a lengthy criminal history. Do you really think its a wise decision to use him for medical services with such a shady background?\r \r He treats for alcoholism and he keeps getting DUI's? Does that sound right?\r \r The proof is all right here. Let everyone know these facts.\r \r Dr. Harbir Sekhon has been Arrested and charged with Harassment, Breaking and Entering (2 times) and criminal mischief!\r \r This Doctor has been reported to the Board of Health as well.\r \r Links below showing these facts.\r \r \r Dui in 2008 Pasco County Florida..... This guy treats alcoholics!!!\r Look up his name and mugshots at the Pasco County sheriff website in Florida \r \r Second Dui Nov 2, 2013\r Look up his name and mugshots at the Pinellas County sheriff website in Florida \r \r Too see these charges:\r Harrassment, Breaking and Entering and Criminal Mischief arrest go\r search in Google ""Harbir Sekhon google"" and the article in the ""Ocala Star Banner"" will come up showing the above crimes he committed. \r \r more

This doctor is a very caring and well read psychiatrist. I've been a patient for 20 years, after my previous doctor retired. He is very courteous, makes you feel at ease and is excellent in explaining and prescribing antidepressants. He also does a lot of psychotherapy personally, helping me and my husband. A while ago he treated my teenage daughter with great results.\r i can easily say he's a very good doctor and I recommend hom to anyone more

I'm from Argentina and saw this great doctor for over an year. I did not know I had bipolar disorder.\r Much treatment in Argentina was done for depression with no results. My wife suggested Dr. Sekhon, and after 2 visits he gently suggested I get treatment for bipolar depression. I have changed so much. I am more productive, my marriage is back on track and I feel good most of the time.\r I have to thank Dr. Sekhon for all the work he did with medicines and marital counselling. more

The guy is a crack pot! This so-called psychiatrist has a lengthy criminal history. Do you really think its a wise decision to use him for medical services with such a shady background?\r \r He treats for alcoholism and he keeps getting DUI's? This Physician is an excellent asset to my profession. I'm a physician myself and feel compelled to write a review. I've seen Dr. Sekhon as a patient for several years. He's very thorough, professional and has a lot of empathy. i was not impressed with a previous psychiatrist I saw. Unfortunately on a public website i do not want to divulge the nature of my problem. I've sent a lot of patients from my practice to him and I'm glad he's uniformly heped most of them more

Melissa C.\r This man is probably the best psychiatrist I've seen. I'd given up on myself and my daughter.\r He helped us both get our life together. Treated me with Effexor and therapy for my depression and my daughter with Suboxone for her Opiate problem.\r We really owe this fine man a fresh start.\r Don't hesitate to see him: he's very good and ethical. more

This poor excuse of a doctor is the worst. Do yourself a big favor and run away as fast as you can from this psycho and drunk. Check out his mushot out of Pasco County Fl for DUI. Hes a douchebag! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/12/2013

Although he put a little more effort into educating me about Suboxone treatment than other doctors have, the amount of money he asks for it is a huge ripoff in comparison. But if you can put up with that and the pit bull he has running the front office, he's a pretty knowledgeable doctor. I'm afraid the greed and the negative atmosphere in his office are a deal breaker for me. I can spend a lot less and be treated with much more respect elsewhere. more

THIS IS THE PSYCHIATRIST FOR A CURE!! 2/24/2012

I saw this Doctor after two failed trials with other psychiatrists. Became cynical, almost gave up. Tried to trick him into giving me Xanax. Did not work. This guy is really very good. Knows his stuff very well, treats you with respect but will not be easily fooled. Treated me with therapy, Neurontin, Paxil and Suboxone. Explained things in detail to my wife. I'm 100% better. There are plenty of psychiatrists in Pinellas who will give you any pill you want. Don't go to this Doctor if thats your main goal. more

Saved me from depression, drugs!! 2/24/2012

Dr. Sekhon, is one big reason I'm alive. Hopelessly addicted to Roxycodone, depressed, in a failing marriage, I saw him in desperation. He explained my problems very politely but firmly to me. He treated me over 6 months with Suboxone, Celexa and marriage therapy. I've been clean for an year now, and my marriage is back on track. I will say that if you try to manipulate this Doctor to give you any pills you are going to get a polite ""NO"" Thats probably what happened to the last unfortunate person raving aboutly Dr. Sekhon . GO TO THIS PSYCHIATRIST WITHOUT HESITATION IF YOU WANT TO GET BETTER:IF YOU WANT YOUR FAVORITE PILLS FIND SOMEONE ELSE! more
