Segovia's Nail & Hair Studio

I moved to El Paso about a year ago, and I was afraid I wouldn't find a great hair salon. I tried spas when I got here, thinking they had to be good. WRONG. I went online and read reviews and found an AMAZING woman to do my hair. If you go here,ask for Stephanie. I am VERY picky about my hair and how its done and she did a perfect job.She has an amazing personality and she made me feel like we have been best friends for years. I promise you will not be disappointed.I got in quick,she didnt take 3 hours like the spa did and she really listened to what I wanted and WOW is all I can say about her. more

Best place to go!! They were able to perform miracles on my hair. I tried dying it at home and it came out blonde with a blue tint, thanks to one of the girls( sorry I forgot your name) there she was able to fix it. I had an appt w/ Stephanie and this was my first time going w/ her, well let me tell you. she was AWESOME! i went in there w/ my normal hair, and came out looking and feeling sexy as hell! hadnt felt like that in a LONG time! I followed Stephanie from another salon to Segovia's. Needless to say, I have been going to her for several years. Not only do I like the atmosphere at Segovia's, but I alway walk out of there very happy! I always get complement on my cut and color!\r Because Steph is so good, it is important to get an appt. I made the mistake of waiting to long to see her, got my hair cut by someone else and was in a bad hair day for months. I got it corrected by Steph recently , and learned my lession. \r She is modern, honest, and affordable! Let's face it.. although the salon may not look like much, this is definitely the place to go if you are looking for a great cut and color! i made an appointment with Stephanie after reading all of her positive reviews and she was just as great as everyone said. her color is awesome and she somehow manages to fit everything into about an hour -- definitely the shortest amount of time i've ever been in a salon! she does everything herself from start to finish and you have her undivided attention the entire time you are in the salon. you absolutely cannot beat the price, especially for the quality. Stephanie is honest with you if she doesn't agree with a style or color you request ... but that is simply a testament to her confidence in her abilities, something that i personally appreciate in a hairstylist. give Stephanie a try -- you won't be disappointed!! After trying out many stylists in different salons all over El Paso, I finally found one who I can trust with my hair. Steph is terrific with all things to do with hair. She is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and you can trust her to give an honest opinion for a style best suited for your face structure and your lifestyle, but she listens to your wants at the same time. I was looking for a good nail person and stylist in the same salon and it's been hard to find. When I was reffered to Segovia's to Toni I wasn't disappointed. She does amazing nails and is very creative. She makes it her goal to please you and give you exactly what you ask for. You do have to make an appointment but it's worth it!!! I also go to Lucy to get my hair done and she is great. She gave me a real good cut and color and makes me laugh the whole time. I love them!!!! I recently went to Segovia's hair studio in desperate need of a good hair cut. Steph was my hair stylist, I just want to say how very satisfied I left her chair. She did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair, not to mention her honesty. I had asked her not to cut too much. She was very honest by telling me how damaged my hair was and that it was not going to look good if i left it long. I had the nerve to ask if she could do it in a V shape. She told me that was old style I trusted her and as I mentioned before she did great. Poor girl had to fix the mess my previous hair stylist left. I plan to keep going with her for all my hair needs. I also want to say the service was great. I did not wait more than 5 min. was in an out in about half an hour. Thanks Steph\r more

I went with Stephanie and was extremely satisfied when she was done with my hair. I have had straight long hair for over three years and have had nothing but just a trim about once a year but I was tired of my hair being boring. I wanted to change my hair, but I didnt want to cut it short. I asked Stephanie if she could give me volume without making it look short and give me something that would match my round face. She was very friendly and enthusiastic and actually listened to what I wanted. I was extremely nervous because usually I get more taken off than I like but when she was finished with my hair I was stunned. It was a good lift to my self-esteem and my hair looks so much healthier, stylish, less heavy and more manageable than before. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend her to all my friends or anyone that is nervous about cutting their hair. If you are new here like I was 3 years ago and after several frustrating moves as a miitary wife I found Stef at Segovia's and haven't gone anywhere else since Now we are getting ready to pack up and move out again and I am DREADING the search for a new stylist. And not just the stylist but they really make you feel comfortable at Segovia's along with thier nail artists (because what they do is REAL ART!) to the reception at the desk where you are asked if you would like something to drink, soda, water, coffee, etc... they just make you feel like each and every person is a PERSON and go out of their way to make you feel pampered and refreshed and renewed when you leave there. So, not only am I moving and losing my stylist but I did gain a life-long friend here and any time I come to visit will DEFINITELY be stopping in for a color and cut! God Bless you all at Segovia's for making my time in El Paso much easier without the hassle of having to shop around for a stylist and saving so much valuable time. As a military spouse, I can say this saved so much time, frustration, bad hair cuts, and you made me feel at home in a new place! My experience here was awesome! My hairstylist really listened to me, and was extra careful when highlighting my natural (no previous color treatment) hair, so as not to damage it. She really listened to the look I was going for and gave me exactly that, with the extra zip that only a truly good stylist can give you!! Totally recommended! I wouldn't go anywhere else! William Segovia the owner is not only a genius with color and cuts he is absolutely a riot. He has made it a goal to hire only the top stylists in the city. Their nails are also just as good.
