Second Time Around

I can not believe the great deals that I find here on a regular basis. I buy so much of my children's clothing at 2nd time around, they always have really quality items. I even sold all of my maternity clothing and got really good prices for my stuff.\r \r Kris. Okemos more

I have shopped and consigned at the 2nd Time Around for the past 25 years. I love the outstanding selection of clothing for women, men and children. Over the years I have purchased excellent clothing inculding designer clothing, handbags and beautiful items of jewellery. My great ' finds' and good customer service keeps me coming to STA back for more. Pros: STA is a shopping adventure Cons: none from my experience more

While the men's attire section is considerably smaller than the women's section, STA, does a good job at offering good quality at reasonable prices. Clothing is well organized and the longer it's been in their store, the more discounted the item is. If it's been there long enough, some of the prices are as good and some times better than the prices at thrift stores. I've had uncanny luck in buying suits here when they have just reached their lowest offering price - paying a whole $21 for the most expensive one. Pros: Consistent quality, good selection and variety, occasional exceptionally discounted gems, very clean Cons: No significant cons from my experience. more

I just returned home from hauling some of my clothing to Second Time Around for resale and left thinking, boy this place has changed!! The entire process seemed unorganized. They could not find my number or another consignors - this seemed to cause a stir. Then the girl started going through my clothing. It surprised me that she was not educated on fashion brand labels and was very frustrating. I had a skirt from Cache that she marked it at $8. (It had retailed for $129) She then denied a pair of black, lined career pants from an upscale clothing store fresh from the dry cleaners because they had a "deep wrinkle". I thought," hmm, if I were buying something used I'd rather have that clean 'deep wrinkle' then a stain, missing button, or then the many faded pair of black pants that fill 2nd Time Arounds current inventory." Also turned away was a Talbots Dress because it was "sleeves" . It is a fall career dress that requires a turtle neck or blouse under it but but none the less "sle more

This place has two floors PACKED with great finds. I gfot most of my brand name maternity wardrobe here for less than 10% of retail! They have every kind of clothing you can imagine, and only accept the nicest stuff. I do find that the racks are a little close together, and it is not very handicap accessible, but the variety and quality at the LOW prices makes up for it. Second Time Around is what I call a 2-fer. You can find some nice gently used clothing for your family here...AND you can get some cash by selling off some of your own genlty used clothing. This place is HUGE...just be sure to double check the items before you buy them...as they don't allow returns on most items. more

I LOVE this store! They have a HUGE selection, tons of designer labels, and the prices are right!!! What I especially like are the childrens section. THey always have great items at INCREDIBLE prices!!! PROS: Awesome items! Easy to navigate! CONS: None more
