HEED A WARNING! SECO Representatives said all would be taken care of and all I had to do was sit back and relax Needless to say this wasn't the case at all! Install took 12 hours. The installer advised us that it would cost us another 2K to make the Trane System work efficiently and effectively due to our Beutler Circuit board, saying that the Sales Reps don't always know to include this into the contract. Mind you, we had already put out 17K going from a 10 Sr to a 20 Sr plus the TRANE Effects Clean air Unit! They scraped and dented our wall in removing the old unit-staco fixed finally 5 days later- due to my calling. Installers didn't have a ladder long enough to get to the top of our roof to close off the flue which also took 13 days until this was completed-due to my calling. Painter didnt come out until 14 days later because the staco and painter are separate contractors. Rebates were not completed correctly so they had to be corrected and resent to us- again due to my calling. We were also promised a follow up visit and that wasnt done until 04/10/2009- after SECO had received my dissatisfactory survey. Only to get the run around yet again, first appt they didnt show up at promised time, second appt installer shows up not as a follow up appt but to notify us that he was there to check out our dysfunctional circuit board! Oh and he advised us that the installer mispoke when he mentioned the old Beutler Circuit board!! So now here we sit 5 weeks later with the same old Beutler Circuit board and finally done with SECO and their less then stellar customer service!
Pros: Customer Service less than adequite!!!
Cons: Took more then a month to be completed!!
