Think you shouldn't play tug with your dog? Believe your dog is trying to be the ""alpha"" by butting into the doorway before you? Nope. You don't know dogs until Cristine and her crew really teach you about dogs. Classes for puppies big and small emphasize on learning about dog behavior and how to reward - not punish - your pooch into doing what you want them to do (most of the time). The crazy thing is, it really works, with the added benefit that your dog is happily socialized and super tired at the end of each class. Practical tips, realistic ""homework"" each week, and a good variety of classes and times. Our favorite part from Puppy I is the emergency recall word, which gives us a little peace of mind if our girl tries to make a run for it. We really recommend classes from Seattle Dogworks.
Pros: In-city training spot, easily accessible from downtown and South Seattle too.
Cons: Sometimes tough to park. Really tough to get your dog to leave the studio after a fun class.
