LIES AND EXTREMELY OVERPRICED 8/7/2011

I went to this place about a week ago to get my brakes looked at. They told me my front two break pads and rotors were bad and needed replaced and that it would be $400 to get that done. Two years ago I had ALL FOUR of my brake pads and rotors replaced and that cost me $500...why would only 2 of each be costing me $400? So went back home this weekend and took my car to my regular guys to have them take a look. Turns out everything was just fine, the only thing they suggested was that I get my front two rotors evened out...only cost me $40. Sears Auto Center in Greenwood lies to their customers and charges waaaay too much for auto repairs. DO NOT GO THERE. more

This plays lies 10/13/2009

I caught this store telling me a blatant lie about the state of my vehicle. I went to this Sears recently for an oil change and tire rotation and they told me that, upon inspection, they found my transmission fluid to be black and needing replacement. Additionally they told me that my power steering fluid was black, smelled burnt and needed replacement. I replied that this was odd since I had had the car into a Toyota dealer about 5k miles prior and they replaced both the transmission and power steering fluids then. When I told this to the salesman he said ""well you better go talk to Toyota."" Pros: NA more
