Came here to get new tires for my car because the tires I wanted were only available through Sears.
We called about the tires and got a price on them and decided to order them. When we went in to actually order them, their receipt was confusing and only after studying it carefully we realized they overcharged us for the tires. Called them to fix this a few times and didn't get a call back.
But the real trouble came when we went in to get the tires put on my car. I needed an oil change and to have a few little things checked out on my car (problems with windshield wipers and broken cigarette lighter), so I figured I'd get it all taken care of at the same time. But when I tried to talk to them about this no one seemed to want to listen to the extra work I wanted to have done. They kept dismissing me and didn't write down any information about the extra things I wanted to have done. Then once they started the work they called me three separate times about my service and each time I had to remind them what I wanted them to look at besides the tires.
Then I come back to pick up my car and pay for the service. No one told me what the status of my car was. The tires were on and the oil was changed, but the mechanic wasn't there to tell me about the service he did, or give me any update on the two other issues my car was having. The guy at the counter had no idea what they did to my car and when I asked him he first said he didn't know what the status was, and then two minutes later (without talking to anyone) he suddenly decided he did know, and that they looked at my cigarette lighter but couldn't fix it. No information about what is wrong with it or how easy it would be to fix.
So yeah, they put on my tires and had no problems with that. But there was no communication with me about my car and I have no confidence in the work they performed. Plus now I have to take my car to another place to figure out the exact same issues. And I will be asking the other place to double check the work done at Sears because I just don't have trust in their work.
oh, and they did an oil change that day (2 weeks ago) and yesterday my oil light came on...
all in all, they REALLY need to work on their customer service. It seems like the only service they actually want to provide is changing tires, and if that is the case they shouldn't advertise their other services.
