When I first met with Richard to discuss my dream wedding flowers, I brought my laptop with pictures of all white bouquets that I wanted him to create. He told me that he does all white bouquets all the time and it would be beautiful...I asked if he had any pictures and he did not, so I regretfully took his word for it and ordered all my bridal party flowers with Seahorse Florist. The day of my wedding (3:30pm), my cousin brought the flowers to me to show them to me and they had mostly white flowers and RED roses throughout...definititely NOT what I had ordered and what we had discussed. This did not go with my ""white winter theme"". At this time, it was 1pm and I could either let it ruin my day or move forward, so I chose the latter. But when we returned from our honeymoon, I called the owner, Harry, personally to discuss this error and he basically told me that Richard wrote down red roses on his paper from our earlier meeting and that he says that is what I wanted and it is my fault if I did not check over what he wrote down on his paper and that they made the flowers that I had ordered. I told him that they did not complete the order that I had wanted and was (and still am) very upset that I paid $400 for flowers that I did not want and that did not go with my wedding theme. I asked what he could do to reimburse me for this error and he told me that ""all he could do is give me $25 in a refund"" for ruining my wedding flowers and then he had the audacity to tell me that the wrong flowers were probably better than what I wanted is a direct insult...$25 is obviously a mute amount for such an important day and I feel like that is more of an insult than anything. I thought they were fully capable of handling my wedding flowers, but the fact that THEY made an error in my order, expecting me to look over their employees shoulders to verify that everything we were talking about was correct (in which I never received a written copy of what he wrote down so I have no way of verifying what he wrote down), and then basically telling me it was my fault and that I was mistaken because that is what I had ordered, AND only offering $25 in a refund makes me sick to my stomach and definitely put a damper on the most special day in my life. Thanks Seahorse Florist for nothing...Brides BEWARE! Go somewhere else
