I can say with 100% certainty - Stay away from Sea-Breeze Charters. The guys are great, the owner is an idiot. Has no concern over your safety.....and has absolutely ZERO back-up plan when the ice boat beaks down 5 miles out. Trust me. His Hail-Mary last resort plan is to call a guy, who had drank Moonshine all day, to help rescue us off the ice. We stood there for over 4 hours while the "owner" tried to come up with a plan. And yes, this just happened recently (yeah, like Saturday). Again, great guides, piss poor owner. When we got back to the shore well after dark, about 9:30pm, There was worthless Bob standing on the beach.......only worried about getting "payment squared away". Payment ? Payment Bob ? You stuck us on Lake Erie, 4.5 miles out, with no back-up plan to get us out of there....called "moonshine Dougie" to get myself and family back to shore safely......made me have to get a hotel for the night.....and waste over 4 hours of my own time......and you want to talk about squaring up ? My money went to get a drunk ice boat driver, who had a hard time standing up, and cussed at us the entire time. Great plan Bob. Great plan. The safety of my family wasn't very important to you, was it ? Why didn't you help rescue us off the ice ? Where were you when your guides needed help ?? Sitting at home....right Bob ? Your paid guides were wanting to get something in motion, and you wanted to wait. We stood in the cold for 4 hours waiting for you to make something happen. Sorry for Venting. May I suggest another guide ?? I would trust "Moonshine Dougie" before I ever trusted the owner of Sea-Breeze. At least Drunk Dougie had a plan. If Bob is that careless about someones safety on the ice (which is fairly dangerous), I am guessing he is less cautious when he is running an open water boat. I paid the guy the full amount.....even thought I was hoping to work something out. So here we are Bob....here we are. I am so hoping you want to dispute these facts...Bob. more

Capt Ed does a great job for us. We have been fishing with Ed for about 20 yrs in a row. He is very helpful when the fish are on and puts us on fish pretty consistently. We always look forward to our trip every year. Thanks Capt Ed! more

Had a fun time at Sea Breeze charters. Have had better times here than with other charters in the area. Captains work together to get everyone on fish, really helps out when other guys are out there scrambling. Although it's fishing not catching, we always have an amazing time here and can hop over to the lodging with ease from the boats. Cool place on the Lake and some chances to fish around the marina if you would like. Walleye and perch fishing have been good to us! more

Did a 2 day carter through sea breeze. Full man limit of walleye one day....full man of perch the next day! Awesome!!! Captain was very knowledgeable about Lake Erie. He even took us to his secret spot. Boxed lunches were tasty, and hotel room was great. Will be booking for this coming summer. more

My husband and I went out with a few of our friends for a nice weekend get away. We all had a blast! The captain was great he really knew his stuff. He was able to show us girls how to fish and give a few pointers to the guys to help us all limit out. The boats and lodging were both very clean and convenient. One day we had a fish fry in our kitchen and the other day we walked up to the restaurant/bar for dinner. We all had such a great time we can't wait to go back out this summer. I highly recommend going out with Sea Breeze Charters! more

Went on a sea breeze charter last year and I was shocked to see how well the company took care of their consumers. Had a great time catching some limits. I will be back again! more

Had a excellent time. Our package was 3 nights lodging and 2 days fishing 6:00 am till 2:00 pm. $ 225.00 a person. Great deal !!! You will need a Ohio fishing license that you can get at the gas station right by the Wild Wing Marina. 3 days $20 each person. (for this years) You can have your fish cleaned for you. Around .65 per pound. We went 6-18-06 thru 6-22-06 and in a hour and a half we had our Walleye limit both days. The limit was 6 per person per day. they where 19" - 23" We caught some keeper Perch also. Check out there chart on their web site for the best dates for the kind of fish you want to go for. (Walleye, Small Mouth and White Bass, Yellow Perch and Freshwater Drum. We brought our sealer with us and in the trailer we sealed them and froze them to take home in our cooler. The trailer had everything we needed. Even a grill for cooking out the nice fillets we had. If you can get Captain Ron I highly recommend him. He showed us a great time. Very nice guy !!!
