Scrapbook Emporium

Staff is unbelievably, indescribably rude, and they are trained in rudeness by the owner, who is a ""b"" to her customers: degrades their scrapbooking skills, and has across-the-store personal conversations that are completely inappropriate (how drunk she got, how dumb her last customer was, etc). When/if they ask if they can help you, it's with a rude tone that tells you clearly, you'd better not ask for help. If you can't find something, they point while staying on their chair at the register. Not friendly, not polite, not helpful, usually eating. I have been going to this store for 5+ years and have always had polite service at this store . They have a huge selection of scrap products including local high school and Michigan travel items. Prices are comparable to other independently owned scrapbook stores in the metro area. The owner is willing to display your charity crop flyers. I have found big chains do not care about the community and will not do this. I prefer to spend my dollars with great local businesses who have a stake in the communities in which I live. If you do too then I recommend that you shop at the Scrapbook Emporium . more

This store is not the best to shop at! They have really high prices, small selection when it comes to family, zoo, hunting, and sports. They also do not carry the latest of products. They also do NOT tell the truth. They sent out an email a few days ago stating they were accepting orders on the newest item (Cricut Rolling Tote), and that these totes are not carried in stores anywhere. Well, I got mine in person at another store up the street from them! This store is on the same street they are, and not only were they cheaper, but they had them in store, not online. Then they claim their prices are the cheapest around. I paid $6.99 for Vario refills, to only find them at another store for less than $5.00, regular price. This store is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! The store is huge but much of the space is a crop room. This doesn't make sense. 75% of the time, the space is empty!!! I would much rather shop at a store with a rude staff but that has tons of product (see scrapbook tree)! The store is set up strange. The embellishments are in 1 room and the paper is in another?? I prefer a store that keeps coordinating products together. THEY DO HAVE A GOOD SELECTION OF DISNEY PRODUCTS! Pros: Disney product Cons: unorganized, lacks newproduct, lacks product!!!! more
