I had a couple shingles missing from my roof. Paul from Scranton Roofing & Contr. came over to take a look and noticed I also didn't have ventilation, which I didn't even know about. I'm glad Paul noticed that and fixed both of those problems. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the clean up. That wasn't Paul's fault. He told his workers to clean up and they didn't do a good job. Paul's a real nice man. Have him come out and take a look at your roof. more

Scranton Roofing & Contr. did a complete roof tear down and replacement on my mother's house. We had a contract in place and there were certain things they adhered to and other things we've had to ask them about as they were doing the work. One thing they did not do was take down the old gutters, clean them, and put them back after putting the new roof on. They just left the old gutters up and installed the new roof on top of them. The biggest complaint I have is that there is flashing off the front of the lower roof where it connects to the siding that was done very incorrectly. They have not made that right even after I've had conversations with them. It should have been installed underneath the old roof siding my mother has on her home. Maybe they thought the siding is too brittle. They just used caulking, which is not the recommended procedure. They have yet to do anything to remediate that. I think they kind of rushed our job. I think they should have taken the time to do what they said they were going to do and do it right. I don't know if long term it's going to be a problem, but it has left us with some skepticism that maybe other parts of the roof had not been done in top procedural form. We paid top dollar for it and that's why we are kind of dissatisfied with what they did. It hasn't been resolved yet; we probably going to be looking at a different contractor. I don't think that everything they did was incorrect, but a couple of the main points are things we are trying to get resolved. more

Scranton Roofing and Contracting was just very responsive and they kept us informed about what was going on and what they were doing. They did the roof for a commercial property and a little bit of repairing as well. more

Scranton Roofing and Contractor repaired a piece of the roof that was coming out for my home. This was my first experience using them and they did a great job. The roof is working well now and looks nice too! more

Scranton Roofing replaced a roof for me. It came out fine. I have only good things to say about them. Paul sat down with me before the job and explained everything he was going to do, the materials that he was going to use. He was very well-prepared and it was clear that he knows what he is doing. It's clear that he doesn't do a bunch of other things, with roofing as one of them - he does roofing. He had given me an estimate and I told him he can't go $200 over the estimate. He promised he would get the job done at that price. He did it within the estimate to the nickle. more

Scranton Roofing put a flat roof on my church. They were flexible and worked around our schedule. They were also reliable. Once they came, they stayed until they finished the job. We got a 30-year roof, but if I had another job to do I will call them. I recommend them without hesitation. They went out of their way for us. more

We had a spot on our roof giving us problems and multiple times we had people try to fix it without succeeding. Scranton came in and really diagnosed the problem and noticed some shingles were defective. They even engaged the shingle manufacturer to get us a rebate for not holding up to the warranty as expected. In addition to saving us money through the rebate, Paul helped us get the problem solved, get a positive resolution, and fix the roof right. more
