Scottie's is a great little restaurant offering good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. They serve your basic foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing special ...

There are a lot of unique places to eat in our area. At Scotties Hamburgers of Elkins, you'll find a restaurant that offers meals for any time of the day, and workers who know most of their customers by name.Scottie's opened in Elkins in 1972, when a man from Nitro originally opened the restaurant in a double wide trailer on Randolph Avenue. Elizabeth Bowers, the restaurant's current owner, started working at Scottie's in 1979.A new location was built four years ago, and after the previous owner considered retiring, Bowers decided to keep it going."Scottie's is my passion. It always has been, so you know what, I can do this, I want to do this so I decided to buy it," said Bowers. The restaurant is a family-run business. You'll see just about every one of Bowers' family members working.
