I put up a wooden fence less than a year ago. I was approached by this unprofessional and unethical Contractor Brendan Cooper advising me that my next door neighbor was putting up an expensive fence, and that it would benefit me if he took ours down so that hers can go up. I told him i would discuss it with my wife. My wife called him back, but we DID NOT agree to have him take our fence down. My wife asked him to call her back with more details. He never did. This was around mid November 2013. This unprofessional unethical so called contractor never had gotten verbal or written consent to take down and remove our fence. 2 months later in mid January i came home on a Friday to let my dogs out and notice my Fence was missing. This person actually TRESPASSED and took down my property and damaged our fence. We have made several attempts to have our fence put back up by this person. We even had him sign a letter promising to have our fence up by Feb 21st 2014. it is now March 31st 2014 and our fence is yet to be put back up. Note he is very confrontational, we had to get our property surveyed to distinguish our property lines he became confrontational and obnoxious with the surveyor. he was even urged by a City worker in zoning to have our fence put back up before he put up our neighbors fence. We have lived in this Neighborhood for over 8 years with a peaceful relationship with our neighbors. He has caused conflict with our new neighbors with this fence fiasco. We are currently taking this unprofessional unethical contractor to court. more

Do not hire this loser, Will take your money and lie to you. Completely unethical and unprofessional. You've been warned. more

I needed a new fence built quickly since i live on a busy road and have small chlidren and dogs. I could not have picked a better contractor to work with. Brendan was courteous, honest and professional.The fence he built was rock solid and he finished the job on time.Quality work at a great price. I have recommened him to several of my neighbors . Very pleased ! more

Apparently if you are having a fence built or installed this is the contractor that can do it BUT only that. DO NOT LET THIS CONTRACTOR IN YOUR HOME TO DO ANY WORK. He will do other damage and NOT take responsibility for it!! He did a very poor job on my home repair and did not even repair right!! I had to spend an additional $400.00 to bring in another contractor fix his mistake! I'm working on taking this man to court for damages and reporting to Department of occupation and regulation. Brendan Cooper talks a good game and that's it!!! more

My neighbor hired these guys to build a fence, and boy, did they! Her dogs no longer poop in my yard (I love dogs, though) and the view looks great after the 30 year old fence was torn down. The guys were even nice enough to not park in my space on the street. I saw the entire job (even the trash) and want to hire them this early summer for a project. I am a happy neighbor! more

Do not hire this guy!!!! His work ethic is poor and work product leaves much to be desired. I hired him to build a common design privacy fence. The entire job was an absolute nightmare! From him not building the style fence stated in the contract to him trying to bully me into changing the style mid job to the cheaper style he was constructing for the same amount money, of course, to him adamantly refusing to fulfill his obligations under the contract. Also, when I simply asked him to abide by the contract, he proceeded to patronize me. He is a liar and takes advantage of the kindness and patience of others. In addition, he managed to hang all gates crooked and failed to make the fence level in the front of my yard and left gaps under the fence because he was too lazy to level the ground in a 6 foot by 10 inch space. The whole purpose of the fence was to keep my small dog in the yard, well, because of all the gaps in the fence, my dog has escaped at least 3 times. This guy is a bully and dishonest. He does not stand behind his work and obviously has no pride in his work. I wish I could go back and never hire this guy. The job took 3 times longer than he guaranteed and it was due solely to him not showing up or working a max of 3 hours a day, despite his verbal guarantee that I was the only job and all of his attention would be devoted to my fence. To sum it up, I had a quality contractor look at the fence and his comment was, "he wasn't a fence guy was he?" more

I hired Brendan's company, Scopus Marsh Contractors, in July to build a deck and pergola. The workmanship was fantastic and the job was completed so quickly! With the weather being so mild for this time of year, I've been able to enjoy it even more with the firepit I recently purchased! I've referred Scopus Marsh Contractors to several friends, all of whom have been extremely pleased with the outcome of their projects...but that doesn't surprise me! It's for certain that I'll be contacting Brendan and Scopus Marsh Contractors for future home improvement projects. Sonja S. more

did a fence for me,not top notch.frame for fence or pickets themselves not aligned,part of fence is higher than the rest.my mother hired him to side her house,big ,big mistake. 9 months later,3500.00 later,still not finished,given dead lines by mr cooper that were not kept.this lady is 73 and doesnt need the worries.its down to he said she said,no cooperation from brendan,he did a job for my moms neighbor,put the trash from that job in my moms yard,when ask about this he acted like he had done us a favor by removing it.he did remove it, but still has not even attempted to finish,you are crazy to even consider using this guy to build a dog house.have to hire some one to finish and repair the crummy work brendan has done,9 months,really?thanks for nothing brendan.karma is a wonderfull thing Pros: he can build a fence Cons: lies,incomplete sub standard work more
