good little museum 9/7/2005

This museum is little, but has enough different things to keep kids and adults occupied for a while. It has a lot of fun hands-on exhibits, plus an area with rescued wildlife. I really loved their owls and recommend making sure you pay them a visit. When I was there there was a Lego exhibit with huge structures made out of Legos and a place to make your own creations. It has changed now, but that's just an idea of what kind of things they have there. more

Local science museum for the family! 8/21/2005

The science c enter of connecticut is a great place to bring the kids. They offer tours and lessons. A great place to bring students if you are a teacher or school administrator. They have a giant walk in whale. They have a great dinosaur exhibit sometimes and have live animals. They also have a great gift store. more

Great place for the kids 8/21/2005

They have dinosaurs, which is really cool. They also have tons of animals to view and fun games for the kids. Definitely a place to bring the whole family. It was my favorite place to go as a child, with a great gift shop. They have a giant hollow whale which is really fun to play in and weird to see how big whales really are. Ample parking and unique building makes it an enjoyable, stress free rainy day activity. more

The Science Center OF CT is a Small Science center. I would only recommend going here once, because there is not much to do. They also now charge 10.00 a child and Adult (this inludes 1 laser show). They wouldnt accept my coupon from the Entertainment book, saying that they no longer take them. more

Who ever heard of a fun museum - I found one 8/8/2005

Wow - the Science Center of CT - what a fun place for kids & adults. The diversity in it's displays boggles the mind. From being a weather person to a lifesized kaliedescope. Put you hands in the gloves and try to manuever like an astronaut. See exotic aminals too. Ever wondered how big a whale really is. Well get right up inside the belly of one with the life sized version just outside. more
