I had the nicest experience here today. I had years before purchased a watch from another A2 jeweler, and tried to go there to see about repairing the bracelet only to find out they were no longer in business. So I went to Schlanderers, and they were so kind to me. I straggled in during the rain probably looking like a homeless person, and was treated with the utmost respect. I left there 10 minutes later with my watchband repaired, at no cost to me at all. I felt completely humbled by the experience, and will be sure to give them my business in the future, if I ever need another Tissot watch. more

My husband went to Schlanderer and Sons to buy a gift for me. The staff was helpful and he was able to find exactly what he was looking for at a reasonable price. more

My husband and I went there last weekend to look for a 10 year anniversary gift. I wanted to purchase a Rolex for my husband but when we got there, the staff did not give us service. As they were finished with their clients, they went to the back to talk. It was very apparent that they didn't want to provide service to us. Not sure what have have been the reason because we were polite and properly dressed. Perhaps we are not of caucasian decent, though I hate to assume that was the reason. Since the store is so small that you couldn't have missed us standing there waiting. After waiting for more than 15 minutes, we left. \r I would not recommend this store to anyone. The store is small and the Rolex collection is smaller. I guess since it's a family business, they don't have to serve you if they don't feel like it. more

Schlanderer and Sons is your traditional, family-owned jewelry store. Their great selection is only surpassed by their outstanding customer service. If you are looking for anything from a childs first necklace to an investment piece, I would certainly look here. They are more than knowledgeable and will not try to hard sell you. more

This is a local Jeweler downtown Ann Arbor. The staff is very knowledgable, and professional and friendly too. Nice decor inside the store, old wood floors and such. Prices are a little high, and parking isn't the easiest, but they have nice items. PROS: professional friendly staff CONS: parking can be a little difficult more
