There is no cuisine in the world that is more interesting, varied, beautiful, healthful, and delicious than Thai food. And there is no better place in the Triangle for Thai food than Sawasdee.
Thai curries and stir fried dishes are bursting with intense flavors that meld and contrast with one another. For those of us who enjoy and are capable of tasting great food through a fiery pepper overlay, Thai provides pure excitement. Those who know real Thai food just can't comfortably settle for cheap substitutes that skimp on the quality and complexity of ingredients.
You can find the real thing at Sawasdee Thai. My only regret is that they removed some favorite ""Esan"" (Laotian influenced) items from the menu--e.g. green papaya salad and sticky rice. I'm working on that. But there's plenty more to enjoy, in a cheerfully decorated small-restaurant atmosphere. Aroy mak!
Pros: reasonable price, authentic food, delicious food
