After searching for a dog on the internet we came upon a dog from save a pet. We heard very positive things from them and figured we would give them a try. We filled out the application and our references were called. All positive results until we went there to see the dog. The employees were not very professional and when they seen on the application that we didn't have a fence they turned even rude. We just bought our house and were in the process of putting up a fence. We also were going to adopt a dog that would need medical care for its entire life. We kept getting the run around if we should go bring our dog to meet this dog until finally the day we were supposed to go they called and said because of the fence situation we could not adopt the dog. We informed them how we live across from a state park and the dog would get plenty of exercise and they acted like we were committing a crime cause we didnt have a fence. Needless to say they broke my daughters heart because she fell in love with the dog. I got a bad taste for these people and will not adopt from them ever. It is sad when you try to do good by saving a pet and nonsense gets in the way.
Cons: Not very professional
