I had to write about Dr. Sudy and his practice, ReGenesis. I had been thinking about getting Botox for a while, but was leary because of horror stories I have heard in the news. I saw that Dr. Sudy had positive reviews and actually heard good things about him thru the grapevine, I decided to give his office a call. I spoke at length with Bethany and she was so helpful and full of information. Reassured, I set up an appointment and saw Dr. Sudy. I was so impressed that the physician actually took his time with me, asked about my concernes, examined me and the recommended a treatment plan. I have to say I am very pleased with my Botox results and am going back to work on the texture and sundamage. My recommendation is to definitely give ReGenesis and Dr. Sudy a try. But where ever you end up, be sure that a physician is actively involved in your care. I think it makes all the difference...at least it does to me. Massage 1/11/2007

Call and book a massage with Anna. She is awesome, very knowledgable. I visited her based on a friends recommendation and now I'm a loyal client. Each time I have visited her the results improve with my stress/back issues. She just does a excellent job! more

Great spa 11/16/2006

Awesome experience. Dr. Sudy takes as much time as you need to discuss any questions and concerns. His staff is awesome as well. The IPL treatment worked wonders with my complexion, and Dr. Sudy himself calls a couple of days later to check on you. I highly recommend this spa. Pros: Ambience, patient care, professionalism more

Great experience with Profractional treatrment at Regenesis 9/30/2006

I have been a patron of Regenesis for 3 years. I recently received a Profractional treatment from them and just want to say it is an amazing treatment! It actually smoothed out and filled in some scars on my face that I thought I would never get rid of (even after non-ablative treatments). I was very intimidated by the thought of a semi-ablative laser, and having 2 days of downtime, but it is so worth it! By the 3rd day the redness can be covered easily by makeup, and after that your skin will look so smooth and radiant. People started randomly complimenting me about my skin a few days after the treatment. Dr. Sudy said since my scars were fairly shallow, one to two treatments will be all I need, so I am getting one more. I think Dr. Sudy can fix every possible skin concern. Regenesis is the best medispa in town! Pros: service, staff, results, ambience, everything! more

Great atmosphere, perfect blend of medicine and spa treatment 9/26/2006

The Regenesis Medical Spa in Charlotte is the best of both worlds - medicine joined with beauty/health. The atmosphere is absolutely soothing, the attention to detail borders on amazing. I was surprised by the genuine *interest* in me...this was very welcome. :) Pros: Reasonable cost, very knowledgeable staff, great array of services Cons: None. Need more spas like this around the country. Maybe Regenesis can be a franchise? more

Highly Professional, Classy, and Knowledgable Service in a Lovely Atmosphere - Transgender Friendly!! 8/4/2006

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Sudy's office last year, and was quite nervous about laser hair removal. The warm and relaxing atmosphere of the office and friendly staff immediately put me at ease. I was very impressed that Dr. Sudy actually peformed the laser hair removal. They do OK services, but you can do nearly the same at some other salons in the area. I have been to Carmen,Modern, and Charles Grayson and was truly unimpressed with these over talked about spas. I have actually visited Georgetown Day Spa near uptown and was fairly impressed with the level of expertise with the skincare treatments performed there. THey were also much more reasonable for similar services. It just depends on what types of treatments you want. I have spent several hundred dollars here and have been a bit more impressed and have seen better results skincare wise at the smaller spa above. more

Skin Firming Treatment 6/13/2006

I had heard about Regenesis and Dr. Sudy through a friend of mine who had gone there for some treatments. I was looking to do something to improve my skin and my looks but not undergo something that was too expensive, had too much recovery time, and most importantly, not look like I had anything done. I booked a consultation with Dr. Sudy and he spent an hour with me, reviewing my goals, examining my skin and then telling me of the various procedures he felt would get me to my goals. Physician administered laser hair removal 6/12/2006

Having done extensive research about lasers, I was skeptical of the franchised laser hair removal facilities. I was insistant that no one other than a physician would administer this medical procedure, so I was pleased to discover Dr. Sudy at ReGenesis. He and his staff were very professional and had the laser equipment safe for my African American skin. I have recommended this treatment done at this facility to everyone! Great results with laser treatments 5/25/2006

I had hair removal treatments using both the laser and the newer Aesthera machine. I have had the recommended series of treatments on my upper lip and chin with the laser and have had great results. After the first treatment I experienced a 30% reduction on my chin and upper lip. With one treatment left, about 90% of the hair is completely gone. I had minor discomfort during this quick procedure with the use of numbing cream applied before treatment. I have had one treatment on my arms with the new Aesthera machine. The procedure was literally painfree without any numbing cream, and two months after the treatment, I have at least 50% less hair on my arms. Tired of uneven skin tone and brown spots? 4/12/2006

I had tried everything to even out my sun damaged skin to no avail. Even expensive trips to another spa made no difference. I went to Regenesis and Dr. Sudy because of all the glowing reviews. He took his time explaining the procedures fully, and not only is his spa is beautiful, he has all the latest equipment necessary for the excellent results he achieves. In addition, his employees are some of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. The treatment I would recommend to ANYONE for tightening, evening skintone and removing brown spots is Levulan followed by IPL. There was no down time and the results are stunning. I've been told I look ten years younger! I also followed up with IPL on my arms and the difference there is also just remarkable. I cannot recommend Regenesis highly enough. Painless Hair Removal!! 4/9/2006

I've always wanted to have laser hair removal for my back, but heard how painful it could be. I found out through a friend about the new painless laser hair removal system offered at Regenesis Medical Spa and thought I'd give it a try. The staff at ReGenesis was so friendly and didn't try to 'sell' me on anything. The consultation with Dr. Sudy was great! I really felt well informed to make a decision right for me. I decided to give it a try. I actually fell asleep while my back was being treated -- I couldn't believe how comfortable it was and that I didn't need any anesthetic cream. Skin Firming 3/9/2006

I have had 3 full face and neck treatments with the GentleYag laser for skin firming. I go once a month, it takes 25 minutes, the treatment is done by Dr. Sudy and there is no downtime. I have noticed quite a difference in the resilience of my skin. It's firmer, looks healthier and some laugh lines and neck sagging are improving. I am about to have my fourth treatment. I'm told the firming can continue for up to 6 months after my last treatment. I would recommend this to anyone! Excellent Laser Hair Removal in Charlotte 12/2/2005

I traveled to Charlotte for laser hair removal after doing a lot of research. I wanted by treatment performed by a doctor. I learned that Dr. Sudy actually provides training on laser hair removal safety to other medical spa owners. Dr. Sudy and the staff are kind, patient and very professional. My laser hair removal treatment was comfortable and fast. Most importantly, it was safe and it really worked! I asked about Botox and Dr. Sudy told me I didn't need Botox. Charlotte, you're lucky to have a center like this. I couldn't believe that I was ready to pay for something, but was told I didn't need it. Very honest. I like that. Great Results 11/2/2005

I was referred to Dr. Sudy by several people for botox. When I went in for my appointment, I was greeted so warmly. The facility was so nice. Dr. Sudy took his time going over everything I could possibly need to know about the procedure and what to expect. I found the prices for Botox at ReGenesis to be along the same lines as everywhere I had called, yet their price included a consultation with the physician, the procedure itself, and a two week follow up appt. Not to mention I had a physician doing my Botox, unlike many of the other spas AND surgery centers. I was overall, so impressed with my experience at ReGenesis. Wart Removal 10/5/2005

I had a large wart removed from my left thumb with superb results. The medical doctor (Dr. Sudy) used a lasor to remove the wart. It was pretty much painless and the wart fell off and the area healed within one week. I was very impressed with the overall knowledge of Dr. Sudy when it comes to skin care. Intense Pulse Light-Blue light treatment 10/4/2005

I had dark patches under both of my eyes on my upper cheeks caused from a chemical found in some types of skin cream and then going into the sun, also birth control may have been a factor. Anyway I learned of Dr. Sudy and he treated my condition with a light treatment and both sides of my face cleared up perfectly. Terrific, safe procedures for soon-to-be moms! 9/28/2005

As a newly pregnant young woman, I was discouraged to see my skin health decline. I assumed that nothing could be done to help my new acne, but was pleasantly suprised to discover ReGenesis Medical Spa and their knowledgable medical staff. Dr. Sudy recomended a great skin care line combined with a Oxygenating Peel and microdermabrasion treatment. I love the results and will continue to enjoy Oxygenating Peels and microdermabrasion treatments throughout my pregnancy and afterwards!
