I was entertaining friends from out of town, so we picked Sapor out of a listing from the March issue of Mpls/St. Paul Magazine.
We all rated the food, service and atmosphere a 10.
Dining experience was more like a fine dining experience in Europe, as we were not rushed in the least and our server was professional, discrete, and non-obtrusive. It was fairly quiet for a restaurant, in a peaceful, soothing way.
The food was heavy on the protein portions, so if you are on a low-carb diet, this place would serve you well. Everything was very fresh, even the tiny chocolate pieces (home-made), which were to die for.
Great place for a business meeting or a special evening with friends.
2 appetizers, 3 entrees, 2 desserts and 2 bottles of wine came to about $162, not including tip, and was a bargain at the price!
Pros: Upscale but welcoming, Excellent Food, Warmly professional
Cons: , None, None
