Ordered in a couple of pizzas. The buffalo chicken specialty pizza on the new york crust is awesome, but the new york crust is way too thick for my liking. However, with all the toppings, it probably needs to be that thick. The north end crust is advertised as crispy, but wasn't. The old world style was only so-so. This is the best pizza in the Boston area by far. I live in the city and eat Regina, Picco, Figs and Santarpio's on a regular basis. If you like REAL crunchy thin crust NYC style pizza than this is your place. I lived in Manhattan for 5 years, and Boston for 8 years now...and since I have moved up here this is the closest pizza has come to perfection. It looks like a chain pizza joint when you walk in...but trust me...you will be surprised. Usually a plain cheese pizza is enough for me. But the fried eggplant topping is incredible. Obviously it's a bit out of the way if you are in the city, but worth a drive...espeically if you are in the neighboorhood! Pros: Best crust and sauce around. Variety of toppings available. This pizza joint is DELICIOUS!!! It is the only place in the Boston area where you can get authentic New York Style pie! The pieces are huge and thin and covered with cheese, the way new york pizza should be; the toppings are endless. They also have a wide variety of salads and sandwiches. The atmosphere is clean and the service is fast and friendly. I will never eat pizza anywhere else in the city....not even Regina's. Take it from me folks, I am a Cordon Bleu trained chef, this place is TOPS!!! more
