Great Place to Hang 8/20/2007

I go to Santana Row several times a week, not only just to walk around and hang out. I also meet business associates their when we have casual meetings. Shops there tend to be a bit pricey, but then again its Santana Row. more

Santana Row ...THE upscale shopping district!!! 5/25/2006

Its one of the very few places in San Jose worth doing. Great shops and most awesome restaurants. Its an options Galore heaven. The options to eat and shop are awesome. Mexican, Indian, Italian, Continental and Chinese. Shops for clothes, Jewellery, books, Furniture and electronics. Huge Borders and Best buy as well. Great place to shop and just spend time. There is also a multiplex with 20 screens (though I am not sure abt the exact number of screens) more

upscale shopping district 4/12/2006

Santana Row is a lovely upscale shopping district designed for pedestrian traffic. This si a great place to window shop, sample yummy food, and shop. People here are very dressed up, which amuses me. One end leads to the Valley Fair Mall. The other end houses an art house movie theatre. be sure to check out the Mai Do statiorery store. There is a farmer's market on the weekend. more

WONDERFUL! 10/19/2005

Going to Santana Row is as my friend put it once "stepping into a totally different world". It really doesn't feel like you're in San Jose anymore. Once you pull into the complex you are surrounded by paved roads, beautiful trees on perfect sidewalks and very high end stores. If you can afford to shop here, it is a wonderful place to find all the high end merchandise you desire. If not, it is still fun to go and just hang out. I hear they even have live music playing in the courtyard on Friday nights and the weekend. Or if you're looking for a place to enjoy yourself after work, I hear Straits cafe (a Singaporean restaurant), is a great place to go. Apparently food is very expensive but its a fun place to get drinks. more

Great Hangout 7/30/2005

Santana Row is basically a community with highend shops, eateries, entertainment destinations, and boutiques on the first level and condos and apartments on the upper levels. Some of the boutiques included are Theory, Diesel, Gucci, Escada. Some restaurants included are Amber India, Pizza Antica, Singaporean Straits Cafe. There's also a Club One gym, and a Cinearts theater house, playing indepent and indie films. The atmosphere mellow with trees, rock paved walkways, lounge chairs under the shade, giant chess board, etc. Great for a date or an afternoon of going in and out boutiques and window shopping. Wonderful place to stroll 7/16/2005

On a clear day that's not to hot, this is the place to be. The shopping row has reviatlized this are of SAn Jose and made it a tourist attraction. All along the avenue wondeful shops line the way, in the tradition of open-air European centers. It's very upscale, but there are moderately priced items to be had, if you know where to look. And it's great for window shopping, and seeing and being seen. Plenty of places to eat around, and parking is convenient too. more
