One of the best junior colleges around! 3/31/2006

Whether you are here to transfer to a four year, to get a 2 year degree or just for fun, the instructors are excellent, the curriculum is challenging and the campus beautiful. I went to CCSF for a short time before I moved up here, and it just doesn't compare to SRJC. They have plenty of financial aid for everyone, if that is a concern. more

Great educational opportunity 8/7/2005

SRJC is a great alternative for those who are not fortunate enough to attend a four year or who are working up to it, or even for the person just interested in learning something new. SRJC offers many, many classes on a variety of subjects. Students looking to transfer to four year school can do so, the counseling office can usually help them chart out a game plan. The campus is pretty and well maintained. The only gripe I hear from most people (and I understand it firsthand) is about the parking crunch. Since the JC offers so much to so many, naturally parking is an issue if you take classes during the busiest times. The petaluma campus is also a great place to take classes, and I've noticed that the parking is not such a big problem at that site. more

Great school at a great price for locals 8/5/2005

The Santa Rosa junior college is one of the best in the country. It has superb reputation amongst everyone I have talked with. I have been in Santa Rosa for five years and I have not heard an ill word about the JC since I got here. The charge for class hours for locals is very low which encourages anyone to learn and take classes. My wife really wants us to take a dance class. I would like to take German or some music. The campus is beautiful and there are a couple of large buildings under construction which will further beautify things. more

Wonderful school for the community 6/18/2005

This is a fabulous school offered for degrees and majors that can range from nursing to applied web graphics. The school is beautifully surrounded by nature, and even houses its trademark oaks. I'll be attending the JC for the Fall Semester, and the JC couldn't be a better place to dive right into things. more
