Integrity and Honesty 3/20/2010

despite some photo evidence to the contrary, I'm a responsible drunk.but yesterday i had one to many and i didn't even know how i got home(it was a special night). In the morning while still trying to shake my hangover,i get a call from the dispatcher at Metro cab (thank God my # is listed) to tell me they found my wallet in the taxi.what,i didn't know i have lost it! one of the drivers came to my home and gave back to me and to my surprise all my CC and money($257) were still inside,and my bigger surprise came when i tried to give the caby some money & he refused nobody refuses money but i think that's what you call integrity. for sure i will be using metro cab from now on at least i know if i lost something i will get it back. more

Beyond expectation!!! 3/1/2010

after waiting about an hour with my mother at santa monica hospital for a wheel chair accessible van somebody recommended Metro Cab .So I called them & was surprised how nice the dispatcher was,he promised to have one in less than 10 minutes,I was pessimistic but had no choice. Believe me the cab was there in about 6 minutes,my drive AL was very pleasant & safe.Now when ever i am in santa monica i give them a ring & i love all those priuses they have so adorable. Simple. Called em the night before to arrange pickup at 11:15am. The guy arrived at 11am. I wasn't fully dressed, so I called the company and they told me no problem, he would wait. I walked out to meet him at 11:15am. He was very polite and pleasant. Got me to the Metro station without driving like a maniac. Helped me with luggage, and I tipped. Overall, I'd definitely recommend calling these guys. more

Finallay a taxi company in santa monica have a wheel chair accessible van.Before now it was only LA cabs who did & believe me it's not a pleasure dealing with those guys,I have to wait more than an hour to get a cab even thou i have made a reservation the night before,a lot of times i miss my doctor appointment & most of the drivers are rude,they don't care if you elderly or on a wheel chair,but i didn't have a choice till now. I saw Metro Cab wheel chair van & gave them a call.What a difference 1) the dispatcher was so nice & polite. 2) the driver was patient & courties & took his time helping me in & out. 3) they were at my door on time. Now i am telling all my friends about Metro Cab. Great service ,highly recommended. Pros: Wheel chair accessible van which is green more

It was new year eve the worst night to get a cab,I was on the phone for forty minutes trying to get through any taxi company in santa monica,then my friend gave me the # for metro cab & recommended them,so I called them & was on hold for 3 minutes but thank God they picked up,even thou i can hear the phone ringing I was amazed how calm & nice the dispatcher was,he told me it would be about 20 minutes wait,which was OK by me,at least he didn't give me this 5 to 15 minutes bullshit. I come to santa monica once every two weeks on business & call them to drive to Lax,the dispatcher always remember me make's you feel special & those new hybrid taxis they have are adorable.what can i say they have great service,clean cars,nice drivers that know their way around. truly if you are looking for a prompt cab service with a big smile you should try metro cab, you will notice it when you call and talk with their dispatcher that this is not an ordinary taxi company. metro cab really rocks. Pros: Great service & Green taxis Cons: none more
