I really wanted to like this place. I had been here a while ago, at the bar, for drinks, and the place is very cute, great ambiance. The staff was very nice and the drinks were good. When we're in the mood for mexican, we usually go to Burrito Bar, on 7th and Flatbush. A fantastic restaurant. But we tried Santa Fe the other night, and unfortuately it paled in comparison. The staff was again very nice, we were immediately sat. Our waiter had a hard time distinguishing between light and regular beer though. The food was really just ok. Salsa wasn't very good. The enchiladas were also just ok, not much white meat chicken. Sauce a little bland. My BF also thought the chicken fajitas weren't great. Kind of greasy. I was dissappointed overall, expecially because it's such a nice looking place and the staff is very nice. But honestly, it just wasn't very good food.
Pros: Ambiance/interior, friendly staff
Cons: food
