Everytime we would be down in Marco we would make the ride north to the
Fort Myers area to drive across to Sanibel Island, this is where my spouse's
parents had their vacation spot. The island of Sanibel is somewhat smaller and
not as busy as Marco. Marco Island is like a city in the water. Sanibel actually
reminds me more of an island with a few restaurants, less residences and more
plants and trees. It is a lovely little island though.
