Sango Pool & Spa Northside

I have had a very good experience with Sango Pool. They are prompt, friendly and very helpful - especially Kevin. I have had the opportunity to speak with probably every employee at both the Sango and Tiny Town location. All of them have been VERY helpful. The staff, including the owner, has bent over backwards to assist me with my new pool, deck and driveway that they have installed. As with almost any big purchase, there have been little issues and a learning curve. When I first got my pool there was a little leak around the filter which they came out and fixed the same day. This pool is kind of like a newborn. They bring it to you and leave and then here you are with this giant pool to take care of. It's a little intimidating at first. I highly recommend attending their pool school it is a must and also taking a weekly water sample in so that you keep your pool comfortable for you and clean. I shopped around before buying and you may find a little cheaper price out of Nashville but you get what you pay for. There is something to be said for a local company who is able and willing to help you immediately. Their deck and pavement guys are also excellent. Chad (their deck guy) helped take my deck idea and really keep it in budget. He did a beautiful job with the deck. The driveway extension is actually really attractive. Having a pool installed by Sango Pool and Spa in Clarksville, TN, has been one of the worst experiences of my life. At face value, they appear to be a good company, but, once the contract is signed, and the cancellation grace period expires, you witness a whole new company. I would get told one thing by the owner, and an entirely different scenario would play out (IE: he told me my pool kit was in stock, and then, it took over three weeks to be delivered, due to it NOT being in stock). Workers would show up on site, and work for 1-2 hours, then disappear, only to not be seen again for a day or two. Calls were not returned by the owner. There were major issues on our job site, to include the diving board jig being installed backwards, and the mistake was caught after they poured the concrete! SO, all the concrete had to be cut out- creating a huge mess in my pool, which I had to clean. Another major mistake on their part, required me to drain my pool, a day after I had filled it, so they could correct this mistake (lots of wrinkles in the liner in the deep end). I could go on and on, with the myriad of issues we had!!! BIGGEST THING TO TAKE AWAY FROM THIS REVIEW: IF YOU GO WITH SANGO POOL AND SPA, BE PREPARED FOR A STRESSFUL AND UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE, one in which you will spend LOTS OF MONEY!!!! I was fooled by this company, I only wish I had seen reviews on them before using them for my pool installation. And don't believe for a second that they will get your pool done in 21 days as advertised... we signed our contract on 20Jun09, and the pool still is not completely done/without issues!!
