Consistently clean w/excellent food and great Service ! 7/10/2008

My wife and I recently moved to South Charlotte from the Lake Norman area and miss this place desperately. I was never a huge Indian food fan but my wife got me to try Sangam when they opened in Cornelius. The Husband and Wife owners are extremely gracious and run a great restaurant. The place is friendly, always spotless and the service always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with a great variety. The lunch buffet is the best lunch deal in Charlotte ! Would love it if they'd open a South Charlotte site as we haven't found a good substitute as yet. more

The best local Indian cuisine I have found! 6/13/2008

Living in an area that has no Indian restaurant, I will not hesitate, when time permits, to make the trek to Cornelius to eat at Sangam. The hosts and servers have always been very professional and courteous. The food is the best part of the experience though! I have had tried many different dishes from the menu and have not had a disappointment yet! The buffet is awesome if you can make it. Pros: Service, excellent food and extensive choices. Cons: The restaurant is a bit small, but I am claustrophobic. more

Great service, and menu selections 3/24/2008

A friend and I stopped at this place late one weeknight and were very grateful the wait staff treated us as if we were the first customers. Too often when visiting a restaurant close to closing time, it becomes all too apparent the staff is not super happy you decided to show up!\r \r To my surprise, there was a vegetarian 'thali' dish where you get a selection of various items rather than having to order just one dish. They were even happy to substitute one of the selections in my case. The food was fresh and hot, and definitely worth going back for. I only wish this place were closer to Charlotte :) Pros: menu selections, service, courtesy of wait staff Cons: just a little bit of a drive from Charlotte more
