Sands Towing

The people who work and run Sands Towing should be placed in prison and throw away the key. Very VERY unprofessional. They are breaking the law by towing my car that was NOT parked illegal. The stole my car from me and I had to pay to get it out. Can't believe that a company can get away with this. more

Sands towing are low life human-like creatures that prey on people. The 1st review is right. They drive around and retrieve your vehicle even if you are not parked incorrectly. They towed my all-wheel drive vehicle on a wrecker and without dollies. Towing 101: all wheel drives should be towed on a flat bed or use dollies. the driver reminded me of Chum-Lee, just not as bright. I showed them where the violated Florida law and Orange County Zoning code, But they do not care. Never use this company. more

If you need your car towed, give them a call. Damage free, on time, courteous treatment! That's what to expect from SANDS Towing! *One of the reviews below is uncalled for... Regardless of what financial problems they may or may not have had they are still in business in a VERY tough economy! That should tell you that their customers who need their help are very important to them!!!! As far as how they treated their employees- I guess if expecting you to earn your pay, do your job, be accountable for your actions, etc.., is a bad thing then maybe it is unfair? However, I WORKED FOR THEM FOR WELL OVER 6 YEARS AND I NEVER WAS TREATED POORLY. THEY HELD ME ACCOUNTABLE TO DO MY JOB.... BUT WHEN I GO TO WORK I KNOW THAT I OWE MY JOB 100%, IT'S NOT MY JOB THAT OWES ME ANYTHING! I know personally that only the safest and most up to date equipment is used, and they train drivers to operate as safe as possible at all times. Yes, someone may have been severely injured while working for them, but this is a VERY VERY dangerous job that is often done alone and at night. I have only heard of one major injury during this company's entire existence. And what's this about being sued? Are you kidding me? Hello...., it's 2010, and the economy is in the toilet, people sue companies, I bet every company that has been open longer than 3 years has been sued once for something! That's just how it is nowadays. Bitter ex-employees make me laugh, it is funny actually, now we know why you were looking for a job...Hmmm! more

If you absolutely HAVE to be towed you can call them. But be careful and watch out for damages that will happen to your car and them deny it to the end. \r \r These ""Christian"" Owners will cuss and degrade their workers with no regard to their feelings. They use threats and manipulation to get their employees to do their dirty work and this has led to one of their drivers being hit by a car and severely injured. All they were concerned about was if they were going to get sued. \r \r Not to mention that they obviously arent good business owners with half of their trucks being repoed, filing bankruptcy, losing their personal house and vehicles only to buy more things they cant afford. Not to mention the numerous lawsuits they have against them, one even in a Federal Court!!\r \r BEWARE of Sands Towing, you will be sorry!! Pros: You will get towed, but at what cost? The company went out of their way to make sure that my son was safe when he went off I-4 during a ""Black Ice"" moment. They pulled him out of the slick mess that was created when he swerved to avoid an accident. They are very courteous and professional. Thanks, Steve and Sharon. This is a REPO company!!! They STOLE my suv and bent the rear tie rod.....It never should have been towed as the finance company was mistaken (they paid for the repo and all fees also) but they just said prove we damaged your 1.5 year old 15,000 mile truck LOL......the finance company stated they have had many problems with them and only used them occasionaly as they have damaged multiple vehicles that were brought back to the car lot.....BEWARE of the low-lifes that infest this place more
