My gyn. is temporarily on medical leave, so, I was referred to Dr. Sandland a few weeks ago. My visit was not pleasant at all. I found her disposition nonfavorable, non professional. Dr. Sandland made me feel too intimidated to ask her any questions even to the point of being defensive when I asked her if she had performed this procedure before. She even blurted out in frustation something that would cause concern for any patient. I have experienced quite a few gynecological procedures but none so uncomfortable as this. At one point she told me she couldn't read my gynecologist's notes and asked if I could interpret them for her which definitely is not a professional thing to do. You make your own decision but if any physician can't read another physician's notes he/she should never disclose this to a patient, nor should a physician ever let the patient see 'em sweat. more

My son had a brachial plexus injury occur during birth. He has Erbs Palsy. His right arm was paralyzed at birth. Im not sayin Dr Sandland caused this injury, Im just saying her bedside manor was horrible. She laughed and said he would be throwing a football before we knew it. She treated it as a small incident. His injuries were very severe. We travel to Atlanta for his Dr appts. We had to pay for therapy three times a week. He will have surgery this year. No one ever called to even check on him. We were told this was a clavical break until shortly before we left the hospital. Also, his circumcision was incorrect and he will have to have that corrected at a later date. We have just moved to the Morristown area and trying to find new doctors can always be a bit of a stressful situation. Dr. Sandland's office is at a different location on Morris Blvd next to the Arby's, my GPS sent me to the wrong one so I was a little late! However, within minutes after I finished my paperwork I was taken back to be examined. Dr. Sandland came in and was very funny and chatty and I had my exam done by the nurse practitioner and Dr. Sandland kept me laughing the entire time. I would recommend her to anyone. Pros: Really quick to get in! Cons: Nothing I can think of so far. more
