I am a true believer in ratings for anything and I have to tell you my story with Phil,,,,,the owner of this company. My mother had installed 2 separate alarm systems with Phil due to his great reputation from my mothers friends. I called the company for some cameras and PHIL came out. He advised me that he would have something to me via email in 2 days.....2 days later nothin..I called the company to leave a message with PHIL,,,,and....nothin. I called again a week later and PHIL answered the phone. PHIL said that he would e-mail me in 2 days. Two days later...nothin...2 months later, still nothin....Shame on this company and shame on PHIL.....Seriously,,,,,good luck to anyone using Phil and his smoke and mirrors company. Great Service 2/16/2012

I am a contractor who has worked with this company on several projects over the years and have found these guys to be great to work with. They have a great attention to detail and my clients are always surprised at how reasonable they are. They stay up on the latest technology and go the extra mile to make sure their system fits the client's needs more

They have a very satisfied customer here and they have not only been concerned with the safety of my home but also my personal safety. more

Phil just ignored my Business, Wassup with that? 6/4/2011

\r The owner himself showed up on time to check out my 2 small warehouses in Arcadia. Afterwards he said he'd work me out a deal for installing security on both units. Weeks later I had heard nothing. \r \r I tried calling the office and coulod only talk to a reeptionist but I left a message for Phil inquiring about my estimate. Great Security Company 4/12/2010

I was recommended to San Marino Security by a friend who is a police officer and boy am I glad I was. I was previously with SDS in San Gabriel and they were the worst. I needed someone new with a higher quality product and better customer service. Pros: Great Service, Great Value, Excellent Product Cons: none that I know of more

One of the best car wash and auto detail in Pasadena 4/2/2007

I've been taking my cars to these guys for almost ten years now and they are fast, dependable and professional. Aside from maybe your own personal auto detailer or valet, these guys will outwash any of the local car washes in your neighborhood for the about the same money. more

Very reliable and responsive 11/6/2005

I've used them a couple times before for my security system at home and at my business and they have proven to install high quality products. They are also very knowledgeable about their systems and very professional. The owner is a retired police office and knows quite a bit about security and home protection. more

Beautiful instaliation! 3/2/2005

Phil visited my home and spent hours going over all the details. He is a first rate security man. Retired from the San Marino Police department he understands the needs of San Gabriel Valley residents. Instalation was flawless. Have asked for 2 additional services since the initial instalation and both were given to me with NO additional service charge. I couldn't be happier with my security system. PROS: Top Shelf company. Clean, honest, punctual. CONS: A little expensive but comes with no long term service contract. more

They did a really great job on my car. They are quick, and really efficient, not to mention thye are really friendly and great at detailing. The price is a tad more then what I like paying but it was worth it once I saw the job that was done on my car. more

They wired my home with a security system - flawless job, can't see any of it, I use them for my service as well, no complaints at all. Wiring is kind of expensive and is the downside but much better looking than doing it the cheap way with sensors. more
