Purchased over $5000 of TimberTech product last spring form SJ Forect Products. Not all was in stock so they had to order the post covers that were not in stock. I had to call numerous times to get them and when they finally arrived they wanted me to pick them up even after I had paid for delivery. Cons: Poor Service more

I called on a Wednesday and asked for quotes on a order that had 4 decks about 800 sq. ft. each, they promissed by days end. I called Thursday morning, again Friday morning. Promises, promises. They never got back to me. LOSER's. If you cant do something, just say so. Don't leave people hanging. Try Sierra Lumber by Kelly park, and for bigger orders try this place in Sac. bercoredwood dot com I bet they would ship out here. I'm listing these other options so they don't waste other peoples time. They have wasted enough of mine. PS about 4 months ago I faxed over a different order for prices, promises and no prices. I'm an out of towner, here in Campbell to help my father in law with some small projects. Since I'm not from here, I do not know many local businesses. Today I went to Home Depot to get some items to start my project. Then I stopped here to get the bulk of my wood, which would of totalled about $1000. I go in and make sure I'm at the right place and ask about inventory and the counter man starts to fill my order and then glances at my truck, sees the load, asks if it's from Home Depot and I say yes. He then tells me if I can't support local businesses I might as well do all my business at the Home Depot. In shock, I tell him I'm here from out of town and had no idea about local lumber guys but if this is the type of service they have, why the hell would I give them any business. I was floored. I can not believe this guy operates this way. I was more than happy to give my business to them, and in the economy you'd think they'd welcome it but when someone treats another person this way, I wouldn't take this guys product if he gave it to me! I was in the market for a new deck and had seen them at the Home Show and was impressed with their selection. I went there on a Saturday and the two guys behind the counter were very well informed and really summed up the differences in decking to my wife and me. I really wanted to save some money by installing the deck myself and they gave some good suggestions on how to build my frame, various layouts and railing options to enhance the look. I got my quote and shopped it around, they beat the other bids by a healthy margin and I felt confident they would do a good job. I asked about the return policy and they recommended to buy a little short and pick up more if I need it. That made enough sense to me. The delivery arrived without any issues and the deck looks very nice. They did a good job for me. more

RUDE employee on phone - should be fired the way he talked to customer. Don't give ANY business to them. more
