my wonderful visits start with smiling receptionist and a quick wait!! Kat greeted me and took me to get a relaxing shampoo, mean while we catch up on the good things! She takes direction well with a picky client like me!! Although she is quick it seems with a 30 min appointment she makes me feel great with all the problems i go through she is a relief to talk to and to spend time with!!!\r \r SHe is a fantastic and up to date stylist and keeps me laughing!!! i will never get my hair cut or styled with anyone else Pros: great stylist with a great sense of humor Cons: smiling so much my cheeks hurt ... lol more

i currently lost my job and decided to visit visible changes for the first time to get things off my mind. i saw gail for my highlights she is the most easy person to talk to she makes you feel like the world is not coming to an end. she is understanding and truely cares about her customers. i love her now, then i saw heather for the cut , again it was awesome service she listened to what i wanted my hair to look like and showed me produts that would help my hair, not only did i love my hair it changed the way i was thinking about my life, i want everyone to know what a great experience i had even though the mall is not the best and visible changes it not the largest pretties salon the staff there makes you feel like a million dollars thanks again i will be back to see them Pros: best customer service more

I normally go to Ana, who is GREAT, but she was not in and I desperately needed a haircut. Heather cut my hair and today is the first day I have done it myself. You know haircuts always look good when you leave the salon, and you get home and they look awful when you fix it yourself. Anyways, it looks amazing. I am completely satisfied, as always! This salon doesn't even deserve 1 star. I grew up going to Visible Changes. My mom, sister and I all went to visible changes. That is until they ruined my wedding day. I talked about my wedding day hair with my hair dresser ever since I started college. Finally the day had come! My mother got her hair done earlier that day and confirmed with my hair dresser that she was doing my hair that evening. As my air brush make up was being applied Visible Changes calls me saying they need to bump me back 30 minutes. Not to mention my sister was her next appointment so that would bump her back 30 minutes. Yikes, it went downhill from there! They didn't double book me, the apt before me was really for an up-do. The lady I had been going to all of my life could have said no, I can't do this I have Rachel's wedding hair next and I won't have enough time. Nope, that didn't happen. She took the job and made me wait. Wait on my wedding day! Everyone knows you are a schedule the day of your wedding! I was furious and extremely disappointed. Of course I was emotional. I had to remove my fake eyelashes from crying and re-apply makeup because the tears ruined the air brush make up I just paid for. I had a great colorist and a fantastic stylist. I would recommend this salon to a friend, but I would tell that friend not to count on a friendly check-out. I am not sure I will return. I do love my hair, but the check-out process… The lady was sarcastic and extremely rude. This was my experience and I am in no way claiming that all of the ladies at Visible Changes treat clients this way. Proceed with caution. Pros: My hair looks great, but... I have never had any one do a better job than Mariana!! She knows exactly what I want everytime I see her. She suggest the best little details when I need to change it up a little and when she's done, it comes out even better than I thought it would. Everyone in the salon is very sweet but I just love the way Mariana styles my hair! I used to bounce around from hair place to hair place until i met mariana at the visible changes baytown location! she does such an awesome job. i don't even know what i want to do to my hair until i get there. i just tell her to do whatever she thinks will look great and she delivers every single time! she colors and styles my hair! this is the only place i will go. i love it. more

I asked four people where they got their hair done and ALL four told me, ""Visible Changes""!! So I figured that I couldn't go wrong. As soon as I got there, the receptionist was very accomodating and set me up with a wonderful stylist. I told her what I wanted and she went right to work. Kat is so friendly and she did EXACTLY what I asked her to. I always bring pics to my stylist so that I know we are on the same page. I recommend that everyone do that. It's a great way to make sure that you and your stylist are thinking of the same thing. Anyway, it's been a while since I really felt satisfied with my hair cut and Kat gave me the perfect pixie I needed. Thank you girl!! Ok I have always dreaded getting a haircut. Ever since i was young it was the single most dreadful experience of the month. That was until my first hair cut at visiible changes. It was the night before my senior prom in 2007. My hair was already over grown and i needed it gone....but i knew it would look bad for two weeks before it finally grew out...... Or so i thought. I walked in to the San Jacinto mall location and was welcomed with smiling host and a great environment....everyone seemed to be full of life and excitement. I decided i wanted the best of the best since it was prom. So Kevin cut my hair and I've never been so pleased before with my hair. I felt great and was no longer worried about prom. He was very precise and it was clear to see why he was considered the best. I thought i would never let someone cut my hair again. However i decided to grow my hair out and didnt come back after i graduated.....Whenever i decided to cut it agian i came back to the place with the best results. Kevin was busy.....but Mariana wasnt. I was very hesitant to let another stranger cut my hair but i thought why not......Again, i was completely satisfied. from the very get go it was easy to see she was easy to talk to and very understanding to my needs and want. She had a natural style that enabled her to see what I wanted before i was able to tell her. I've been coming to her at least twice a month now. Haircuts have always been a fear.....but its a fear of the past now. I love this place...everyone is so nice and i enjoy my haircuts more and more each time. I enjoy seeing new faces and I love the welcome feeling i get whenever i walk through the door. Its an absalute joy and i cant really put all my feelings into words... Its exciting to know that there was someone other than kevin who could cut my hair and make me feel like i owe them a hundred dollar tip. I met Mariana when she first started at VC and she created a style for me that was great. She convinced me to try highlights on my next visit. I took her advise and had so many compliments about my hair. I've never ""planned"" to have my hair done, I would just walk into a salon and wait my turn. Now I will set my appointments to whenever Mariana has an opening. I've tried other salons but can't compare to the service & atmosphere of VC. I had a new person shampoo my hair, I think her name was Rosa. I told her I would make appointments just to have my hair washed. She massaged my scalp like a pro & I was so relaxed after a very stressful day at work and in traffic. Pros: smiling faces & friendly atmosphere more

I am very particular about what goes into my hair and who does it. I have gone to several high end salons and I keep returning to this local joint. I highly recommend Mariana. She is very stylish and modern and is very in tune to the latest trends and styles. She is the only one I will let touch or color my hair even if it takes two weeks to squeeze me in...I know, what's up with that! But I will wait for Mariana. During my last visit I got color, they were so accommodating that I didn't leave the salon until 10pm even though they close at 9pm. Rather than having to make another trip in a couple of days for a hair cut, Mariana was more than willingly to stay and the Manager, Lee (I think...she has black super short spikey hair) was very okay with that. She is funny. Great customer service. Highly recommend it the salon, go to Mariana!!!! Kudos chica! more
