Took in my 2000 Odyssey for routine maintenance and rough idling problem. Pros: Clean facility Cons: Expensive, especially considering their incompetence

Way to go honda 5/3/2010

Was in the area doing some shopping (Flax) when my service light came on, so I drove a couple blocks over to Honda to ask some questions (pricing etc.) and check them out since I did not purchase from them. The short version is that I was told by a nice young gentlemen that I should wait to service my vehicle because I still had 15% remaining oil life. He went on that I could drive at least another 1000 miles before my Fit needed service, that waiting until the display is at 5% would save me thousands over the life of the vehicle. Way to go Honda! I'll be back!? more

Great experience 5/3/2010

So I bring my CRV in the other day because I am hearing this strange noise when making turns. It was my first time coming to this dealer (just moved here) so I was not sure what I would get. What I got was great treatment and honesty. My service rep. had a technician drive in the car with me to ensure he heard the noise I was hearing (really like that). After the drive, Bobby gave me an estimate for inspection and I left my car, hoping that the news was not going to be too bad. Several hours later I got a call from Bobby. He told me that they determined the problem, the fluid for something in the back needed to be replaced. When I asked him how much it was going to cost me to change this fluid, he advised me that he already did it. As I started to freak out thinking "here we go", he continued on that there was no cost, he was able to get Honda to pay for it as goodwill since my car was just a year outside the warranty. What a great experience! Everyone there was really nice and professional, not what I expected from a dealer. more

SF Honda 5/25/2006

You're still driving? Well, I guess everyone can't fix their lives up so that they're totally car free. Oh well. In that case, hopefully you're driving a happy little fuel-efficient number. A Honda hybrid or a Civic perhaps? My ex had a Civic and whenever it needed some checkin' or fixin', we brought it to SF Honda, which is a crazy huge operation on Van Ness. It's expensive. But the way I figure it, they're not ripping you off and they do a great job, so unless you know a mechanic you trust, you're probably saving money by not getting ripped off. more

One of the most enjoyable airports I've been to. 8/20/2005

The San Francisco International Airport is one of the better looking airports in California. The airport is very clean, and very spacious, and has plenty of shops, where they have duty free zones, where it works to your advantage to purchase products from. Transportation through the rail system (BART) may seem a bit confusing at first impression, but a godsend for those traveling from the downtown area. Although, the modern look may not warrant the additional cost compared to the Oakland Airport, you won't be disappointed with San Francisco International Airport (unless they delay your flight of course). more

Great Airport! 8/20/2005

This is a pretty nice airport, although I do not like it as much as OAK (Oakland International Airport). Naturally, most flights (international and domestic) are to and from SFO, or at least they have a stop there and a switch of planes because SFO is so popular. But the maintenance poeple keep it very neat and clean. And it isn't confusing with all the clear signs showing you where to go for luggage, etc. more
