I own a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited. I purchased it at Hayward Chrysler Jeep. I live in SF. I also purchased the service plan. A friend referred me to them and also had purchased the plan and loved it. I usually do not buy things like that, but the price was not all that expensive. Anyway, I live 4 blocks from SF Chrysler Jeep. I thought that would be great for warranty service and use of my service plan. Was I wrong! The first time I brought it in, second week having the car, for broken windshield wipers. The service rep first question, to me, with much attitude, was "Why didn't you buy it here?" That first experience was not very positive for customer service. They also had to order the part and I was unable to drive the car until it was in d/t it rained for a week. I then took it in for first oil change. My sunroof button sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. They had to order the part. 4 weeks later after no call to tell me if it was in, I called and all they said was "yes, we have it". I decided then, I would drive all the way back to Hayward for remaining service. Hayward is extremely friendly, courteous, and they wash your vehicle before they return it to you. I wait for service all the time and I am out of there in less than 1 hour.
Well, on two separate occasions I took my car back to SF, lapse in judgment, with the same poor customer service results. I thought with the change in ownership they might be better. But, alas, same people working there. The second time I just needed the oil changed, that is today. They have had the car for over 8 hours and when I called they told me I have to speak to "Will" because he was the one working with me, and he was unable to take my call at that time. I left a message for him to get back to me, they promised he would. One hour later I am still waiting for a call. I truly hope I never have a relapse and take my car back to them. I also hope other read this and take heed
Pros: Close proximity for San Franciscans
Cons: Poor Customer Service
