I've been Dr Coffey's patient for years and she's the best dermatologist I've ever known. Her staff is very knowledgeable and their customer serviced sensitivity is beyond reproach. Without a doubt her operation is the most professional medical organization I've ever seen. And I've seen them all over the world! more

Up to now it's been pretty good about having these past few microdermabrasion sessions. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm quite happy .. My face looks and feels a whole lot smoother I feel comfortable leaving the house without makeup where as before I had to wear some sort of make up, blush or both. more

I came to Barbie desperate for relief from acne, redness, oiliness and just exhaustion from trying everything to have pretty skin. The results I have gotten after only two months is amazing! I can leave the house without makeup and finally after 20 years I feel comfortable in my own skin. And Barbie makes each visit fun! She is a amazing! more

As a melanoma survivor, I see Dr. Coffey every 6 months and have for many years. I appreciate the professionalism she and her staff demonstrate. She accepts my insurance, which is wonderful. I think she is one of the best dermatologists in town. more

Wonderful experience. Wish I had done this when it first came out. Barbie is such a professional and works her hardest to bring the best results. I lost a full pant size and other benefits keep unfolding. Just takes some patience, but definitely worth every penny!!!! Also their derma services are great. Have helped to rid me of my dark spots and smooth out my completion. This is a great office and the entire staff is helpful. I recommend their services from derma to Coolsculpting ... Excellent on all counts. more

I was very impressed with both Dr. Coffey and her staff. The staff was welcoming, helpful and very good about answering my questions. Dr. Coffey was great. She really listened to my concerns then listed all my options for treatment. I had a lot of questions, and she took the time to answer them; she did not rush through anything. I found her to be very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this doctor. more

I was a little hesitant to try Dr. Coffey because of some of the reviews on here, but she takes my insurance and I discovered they are so far from the truth!\r \r When I walked in I felt like I was in a nice spa, totally a different feel from a typical doctor's office. The receptionist greeted me with a huge smile and was very nice. I met Dr. Coffey and was immediately impressed with how knowledgable she is. She asked me many background questions about time spent in the sun, family history, etc. Dr. Coffey gave me some samples to try and I have been happy with the results. \r \r The staff is so cute and the nurses helped me pick out an appropriate skin care line for my skin type. I have already seen and felt a difference on my face.\r \r I would definitely recommend this office. Wonderful Doc!! 3/6/2010

I have been going to Dr. Coffey for many years and find that she and her staff are very caring and knowledgeable (especially when it comes to the many treatments that they offer) Sharon takes the time to explain everything to me and makes sure that all of the treatments/products that I am using work well together. They seem to have a Special almost every month that I can use which helps to keep my costs down. I would recommend Dr. Coffey and her staff to all my friends!! Long-term Quality Care 3/5/2010

I've been a regular patient for many years. I get microdermabrasions and chemical peels from Sharon, who is very knowledgeable about the treatments and always asks if I'm ok during the process. I have also seen Dr. Coffey several times for various medical issues, and she is very professional and proficient, and provides honest, unbiased guidance about my skin care. Face burned during IPL/photofacial 11/10/2009

Sharon burned my face during a photofacial; I told her it was hurting me and she hurried on with the procedure despite my pain and complaint. When she finished she was totally indifferent to the burns and blisters that covered my face. It has taken me months to heal both physically and emotionally. I still have scars all over my face from the burns. Photofacial is suppose to be non-ablative with no down time. Sharon had it turned up to high thus burning my face. She could see it burning my skin but she continued anyway. I feel like I was assaulted with an IPL. This type of deliberate negligence should never be tolerated by any doctor or patient. Absolutely HORRIBLE 7/31/2009

I was excited to get an appointment with Dr. Coffey so quickly, but now I know why she wasn't booked up like all the other dermatologists in San Antonio.\r Her staff was very unfriendly, but when I met Dr. Coffey, she took the cake. She has NO bedside manner, and the comment the other person made about this doctor's weird facial expressions could not have been more accurate. Every time I asked a question, she looked at me like I was a complete moron. She didn't talk to me, she talked down to me. Dr. Coffey acted like it was a hassel for her to be in the same room as me.\r Not only was she rude and condesending, she totally misdiagnosed me. I'll admit, I had gotten a little sunburn the day before so my check were a little pink; however, she diagnosed me with Rosacea. How does an ""educated professional"" not know the difference between a sunburn and Rosacea? \r I would not recommend this ""doctor"" to my worst enemy. Unfriendly receptionist and doctor. Sharon is the only nice one 4/16/2008

This was my 3rd time going and I hoped it would be different, but I was let down again. The hispanic receptionist with the short blonde bob is very unfriendly. The only friendly staff was Sharon. I thought my earlier visits were just during busy hours, but this 3rd time the place was empty. I kept coming back because of a friend's referral and I thought I was judging too early. Dr. Coffee is a good doctor and good with her treatments; however, she makes you feel uncomfortable. You feel judged by her and she has facial contortions that make you feel uncomforatble. Like she is sneering at your routines or questions. Aside from the awkward feelings you get from the staff and the doctor, the medical quality is great. The recommendations and the private line of facial moisturizers and products are excellent. more
