Samurai Karate Academy

To have the honor of studying under Sensei Ian Harris at Samurai Karate Academy. My now 10 year old daughter started almost a year ago, followed by her father and sister. I am nothing but thrilled with her progress and how it has been an integral part of helping her to be well rounded. She takes karate quite seriously and she's learning discipline and strong values. The Sempeis are dedicated and care very much about what they are doing, both personally and with their students. This dojo isn't for the faint of heart and we appreciate every bit of it. Sensei Harris is amazing. His story is rich, his experience is vast and he brings tremendous passion and inspiration to his students. He holds a very special place in the hearts of my family. more

This is an old-school dojo. No frills, no fancy uniforms and no smart contracts. Just bare knuckles, a cold floor and instructors that care more about their art and their students than making money - Kyokushin karate they way it used to be. more

If Zack T. ever attended a class at the Samurai Karate Academy he would know the we have Sensei Ian Harris as our Chief Instructor over 40 yrs teaching and trained in Japan under the late and world-renowned Mas Oyama , 10 degree. As a student of many differnet schools and currently 3rd degree black belt in both karate and Ju-Jitsu and a 1st degree black belt in tae kwon do. I know what you need to have in a school to make it a good one. In my years of training, i'v been to many schools, and i believe that this school does no meet the levels a good school should have. more
