I'm a corporate attorney and my appearance is important. I also appreciate receving a good value when I spend my hard-earned money. I recently needed new leather soles on my dress shoes. Sam's Shoe Fixery (also a dry cleaners) received high marks on Angie's List so I decided to go with them. They offer both half- and full-sole replacements and actually suggested that all I needed were half soles. They had samples of other pairs that had been re-soled and I decided to go with full sole/heel replacements after I saw how nice the others looked. I picked up my shoes yesterday and I was not disappointed. I dropped them off at 6PM on Friday and they were ready at 6PM the following Tuesday. Normally, they need 4 working days, but they did this rush job for me at no additiional charge. They also polished the shoes - they look great. I think this shop is family-owned and shoe repairs are done onsite. The full soles/heels were $46.95 for the pair (half soles would have been $36.95) and while this is not cheap, it is comparable to competitors like Belk and the Myers Park shoe repair shop. I will be recommending Sam's Shoe Fixery to everyone I know.
Pros: high quality work product
