The overall quality of the work they did was good. However their business practices since then have been highly unprofessional. In June 2012 I contacted the company to discuss some holes in gutters that were installed in 2005. The company representative promptly came to check out the problem. I was told that they would be willing to do the repair work. I was pleasantly surprised when the representative offered to do the work for no charge as I was more than willing to pay for the work. So far so good. From August 2012 to July 2013 I attempted to contact them no less than a dozen times via email and phone messages. I even spoke to the company estimator in the fall of 2012. Each of these attempts to contact the company went without the courtesy of a reply. Finally I was told yesterday, in a somewhat legal sounding letter, that they properly installed the gutters and had not offered to do the work without charge but instead had offered to do the work for a fee. However, I never received a proposal. After getting the letter I questioned what took so long, attempted to explain the situation from my perspective, indicated that I was willing to pay for the work and asked them to provide a proposal to do the work. They did not offer any explanation, nor express any concern related to their lack of responsiveness and refused to even provide a proposal.
Their lack of responsiveness and communication has been just awful. I still have leaky gutters that are not properly sloped right now and have been waiting for these folks to reply to me for over a year. Had I known that they were going to rescind their offer I would have called another contractor and had the work done a long time ago. They have not even attempted to address my concerns in any way. I would be highly suspect of their extremely unprofessional business practices.
I thought that I had found a quality contractor (they did over $60,000 worth of work for me) and I was a happy customer. Turns out I was wrong.
