Unfortunately I didn't find the Salvation Army very helpful at this location. I spoke to somebody by the name of Pamela. I asked for assistance in finding temporary housing and all she did was refer me to another agency. I expected that kind of an answer from corporate America not the Salvation Army. Really disappointed with them. Won't ever contribute to their organization in the future. more

Soul stirring experience 5/28/2006

This facility in Norridge is one of the best in the state. They are warm, kind and have deep passion and faith. You will not be turned off by a too pushy attitude. They just open their arms to you, help you, and will be there with words of encouragement and support. I strongly suggest visiting their special services throughout the year. Your spirit will be renewed and refreshed. Good people with a mission to spead the Gospel. more
