The Store may look a bit tattered , clothing etc.. on a 1/2 price wednesday may be a be scattered, but rest assured the Pleasant St Brunwick Store has many a deal on shoes , clothing and more as well as smiling faces to greet you and assist you while you explore!! I buy ALOT of stuff from this particular store.There are tons of name brand jeans and great specials every day of the week.On Wensdays clothing is half price! I have bought lots of Levis for my son for a couple dollars a pair.On Thursdays they have $.10 book day and I always stock up on kids books on these days.You really have to spend some time digging around to find the good stuff.I always check out the toys too.As a matter of fact I was there today and I saw a HUGE Rescue Hero aircraft for $1.99!! I picked up a Discovery Store Planetarium (all pieces included) for a mere $3.99!! Last week I found a set of Disney Store Blue and white Minnie mouse aloha sheets for $2.99! I have found most of the cashiers to be very nice and very well trained. I DO feel pretty grimy when I leave but that's what good ole soap and water is for! (OXICLEAN takes care of the rest!) more

I don't often find a lot of things I want or need at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. I find it difficult to navigate the piles of odds & ends and & junk at the front of the store and there are so many adult clothes that it's kind of overwhelming. A lot of the workers there lack personality and people skills and are slow to ring up your order. BUT, every Wednesday, at this Pleasant Street store, all of the clothing at this location is 1/2 off the marked price! This includes children's clothing! I have been to a lot of 1/2 price Wednesdays and each time I find a ton of clothing for my little one--a lot of which has been name-brand and still has the original tags on it. I usually end up paying an average of $.75 per piece of clothing, which is quite a bargain! I'd definitely recommend checking it out. more
