I dont know what bad experiences others have had here before but i liked the place. good and service was good.....not great but good!!! more

The best martini in the valley!! They have a large menu with many choices. The appetizers are great too!! We love to sit on the patio and "people watch" I would recommend this place to everyone!! more

If you're looking for that special place to dine this is it. The stuffed Pork Chop is huge and delicious. Never a halibut lover this is the only place I would even consider ordering it. I don't how they do it but it is the best I have ever eaten. more

If you are looking for a great place to grab a cocktail, look no further. Salt Creek has a wonderful martini and wine list. Plenty to choose from. The prices are average, however happy hour deals are fabulous. Usually 1/2 off a glass of wine and a couple of dollars off a martini. When you go, I strongly recommend their chocolate souffle. It's a dieter's nightmare, but oh so delicious! more

One of the better resturants in SCV. The menu has many great thing to choose from. Plenty of great drinks to choose from as well. The decor and ambience are great. Don't forget to try the chocolate souffle. It's to die for. :) more

We went there for my birthday. The service was great. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. It is on the pricey side, but well worth it. I would recommend them. more

This place bites. Just tried going there this evening (it's a Saturday night) and arrived just before midnight. Apparently they had just called ""last call."" When we asked the bartender what time ""last call"" is, the response was ""whenever they decide."" REALLY? What kind of business are they running? Is that really the best way to run a business? Do they want to continue to be in business? It's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. They had live music (pretty good act from the few minutes we were in there, and he even seemed surprised that they had already called ""last call."") and there was still a decent crowd in the bar. What a poor business decision. This poor judgement, in addition to management's complaint about lack of parking (which forced the employees of the #1 employer of the SCV to lose several floors of parking in the parking structure) - again, poor judgement as management failed to recognize that the majority of their lunchtime business had been these same employees -- has left a really bad taste. They do not deserve my business, nor yours. Don't waste your time. Santa Clarita does not have very many options, but there are better options that Salt Creek Grille. more

Salt creek is one of my favorite places to eat, whether out to a nice dinner or just for drinks with friends. They have a fabulous martini menu (try the french kiss) great dinner choices, (love the stuffed halibut) and awesome dessert (don't leave without trying the chocolate souffle!) Good restaurants are hard to come by in SCV and Salt Creek is consistently fun and yummy with a mixed crowd of people. I have never had a problem with service and in fact recall staff that has been friendly and very accomodating of my preferences and of my mom whom I dine with frequently who has food allergies. We walked in on a weekday afternoon at around 2 when there is no crowds and it still took the staff a good 5 minutes to even recognize us waiting at the front desk. Service is absolutely horrendous. I recommend anybody to stay away from this place. Food is mediocre as well. The only thing that it I can say positively about the establishment is the mood and ambiance are nice. Salt Creek is a good place. I agree the service can suck. Good brunch but pretty expensive. I would have ranked it much higher because their desserts are phenomenal, and the real reason for going, but since their pastry chef has left I'm not sure...we'll see what happens with that. more

Salt Creek Grille is probably one of the nicest places to eat in Valencia that isn't a chain. The food is priced high but for most of the dishes it's worth it for the taste and quality. I've never been dissatisfied with the food however some of the young female servers are ditsier than Paris Hilton. Other than that make sure to try their Goat Cheese Marinara and Coconut Prawn appetizers. Their Sunday brunch is also a good experience if you're willing to pay the $37.95 per plate. Actually if you compare it to eating out for dinner it's actually pretty cheap since it's all you can eat. Great place to take a friend or significant other for a nice evening. Try sitting on the patio for a fun evening of people watching in Town Center. more

After visiting this restaurant since it opened, we are resolved never to return. We have watched the service deteriorate into making each visit a frustrating experience. This is the place to go if you want a fairly decent steak served at the same time as your appetizer and salad. You will have a table filled with each course you ordered as well as used plates the staff will remove when you ask them to. Don't bother complaining to management. They will tell you, ""this isn't fine dining."" However, the manager promises to provide quality service if you ask for it upon arrival. The place has attractive interiors, decent steaks (the aged beef is only mediocre), airhead hostesses, servers who don't serve and a management staff that doesn't know how to manage. more

The food was delicious and that atmosphere was really great. I've found it difficult to find restaurants with appealing atmospheres in Santa Clarita Valley. The food was a little pricey but well worth it. I had chicken with mozarella and prosciutto. My date had filet minon and loved it. I didn't have any problems with service. Our waitress was polite and helpful. There was a live guitarist singing near the bar that was entertaining as well. Pros: great food, nice atmosphere more

First off, the food is AWESOME! -And the portions are large. The service has been good all of the times I've been there, however I've been to similarly priced establishments that had AWESOME service and AWESOME food...a great combination!! Another good SCV restaurant. Good food, I've never had the service problems others have complained about. A little pricey for the value, but still good consistent food. my only complaint is the spread they give with the bread--not very appetizing to me. Still we will return! I use to work at this place and it has to be one of the most classy places around in valencia. The food is made to perfection and no one leaves here unhappy. The servers give amazing service and the cooks- oh my gosh! During the weekend the bar is cool they have a live band. The only thing i don't like is the fact that they stopped serving the shoestring fries. They were soooo good! Bring um back!! please!! more
