My wife and I tried Sal's 'Famous Fried Fish' recently and found the breaded so over-seasoned that we couldn't taste the fish at all -- just oregano, parmesan cheese, etc. Fish and most other seafood are far too delicate in flavor to withstand Sal's heavy-handed spices. The service, bread and coleslaw were fine, but we would return.
