I have been a client of Salon Volo for about 4 years, and love the personal attention and friendly atmosphere that just adds to the expert hair care I have always received. My stylist always consults with me and makes sure I am happy with my hair. They are all up-to-date with the latest styles and products. It is a pleasure to go to Salon Volo, even though it is a 30 minute drive from my house - it's worth it!!! more

I've been a customer at Salon Volo since I was a high school student. The training, knowledge, and experience that the stylists have make each experience amazing. My stylist, Stephanie, does amazing work!! I usually receive a foil highlight, hair cut, eyebrow wax (a must!!), and an excellent head massage with my shampoo! In addition, Salon Volo offers an extensive product and hair care line that takes care of all of my needs. I will always be a loyal customer of Salon Volo!! more

i have been going to Salon Volo in St. Petersburg, for about 15 years. It is a very clean and well organized salon. Everyone there are caring, helpful and considerate individuals, and they all work together as a team. My stylist, Jeanna, has always taken such good care of me with beautiful hair, and if ever I should have an ""emergency"", she will go out of her way to work me in to her schedule. Salon Volo is truly a lovely place to go and i would highly recommend it to anyone. In addition to what I have already written, I would like to say that I have observed, over the years, that my stylist, Jeanna, is a very kind and conscientious person who listens well to each of her customers, and tries quite hard to please each one with just the way they want their hair to look. I want to commend all the stylists for their fine work and if for some reason,Jeanna should be out, I would appreciate any one of them doing my hair. I consider this salon to be unique , in that it is well run by Rob, the owner, who is quite professional and works hard at having everything run smoothly. The wait to be seen is minimal, which is a big plus in many peoples' busy schedule these days. Robin, who manages the salon, works closely with everyone there. She is a beautiful person and if anyone needs anything, she is right there for them. I closing, I can say that of the many salons I have patronized in the past,Salon Volo far surpasses them all. more

The first time I went to Salon Volo was 20 some years ago. I had bleached fried hair and a really bad haircut! They fixed all of the damage done by another salon and I have been going back ever since, even though I live in Bradenton and it's an hour drive! Pros: Stylists experience and ongoing training more

Dont buy any gift cards from salon volo. They don't honor what they sell. I am having to file through small claims court to try to get back what I paid them for services unrendered. Pros: nothing Cons: they do not honor their gift cards more

I was referred to Salon Volo and scheduled with a different stylist due to my time constraints and scheduling...that was a little scary. However, I could not have been more happy with the my stylist (Tim). The time he spent with me in my consultantion was refreshing as he listened and input when I asked for it. I LOVE Salon Volo. I have been a loyal client for almost ten years not and adore the staff there. The location is great with a beautiful inside, the receptionist Robin is great, and my stylist Stephanie is amazing at what she does. I have never left unsatisfied and the ONE time I've gone elsewhere or done crazy dye jobs on myself, Stephanie always fixed my hair back to beautiful. I highly recommend this salon if you want beautiful, healthy hair. Ask for Stephanie...there is no one better! And if you need beautiful nails to go with your hair, go to Lori...her nails are gorgeous, strong, and she guarantees them for three weeks! Who can beat that?!?! yes I had the same experience minus the cappucino. I ended up walking out of the $100 short and still needed a haircut! I don't know if it was because of the split ends my hairdresser didn't cut off or the lack of style in my haircut. I do now have a tail! Not exactly what I was looking for though. Where should I begin? OMG! First off the location is terrible! I drove past it a few times before actually finding it. So, finally I get there and they ask me if I?d like something to drink. I ask for a cappuccino thinking it was complimentary, OH NO? they make me pay for it!!! AND are stingy with all the ingredients (I watched them make it). I wait for about 15minutes before ROB decides to come greet me. At last I get to the chair where I try to make conversation with Rob. Well, let?s just say he says a horrible dry sense of humor? Just an absolutely appalling personality. However, besides that this dark brown haired girl shampoos me and leave me SOAKED!!! Lastly, I leave with cheap looking highlights and an 80?s haircut! I will not be back Pros: N/A Cons: just about everything... more
