Girls looked very chic, all dressed in black, very professional. Had brought a pic of something new and fun in mind. The look I wanted was very successful, it even made me want the highlights my stylist suggested that would enhance the look I was trying to acheive.Very happy. Seems like their prices are right on target. I shopped around looking for someone for a while, since my prior hairdresser was getting way to used to doing what she wanted, not what I wanted. I felt very at home, and loved the atmosphere. I recommended 3 of my co workers and they gave me a 25% discount off my next service of my choice, which was amazing. I finally found a place where Im happy, and I dont have to feel uncomfortable with hoppping around to other hairdressers inside the salon, they are totally cool with that too. Ive never been to the old location, but they said this one is sooo much nicer, doesnt matter to me anyway, I love my hair, love the stylists, and thats the end of my search for the perfect salon for me!!!!! In reading the recent comments from the Chia pet lady! Sounds like she has some kind of psychological issues going on there?? Anyway, the real deal on Dana Cole, Lagrangeville, is that they are very friendly(providing a comfortable atmosphere) very clean, beautiful decor, and they keep up on the all the latest trends in color ,highlights, and haircuts. They open on days they are closed just for your special occasion.I have been a client for only 2 years or so, but Ive never had a bad experience! Ive recommended so many of my friends and family there, and they all say the same thing.They love it!! Id rather go to a friendly salon and get my hair done exactly how I want it , than a snooty place and pay a fortune. I highly recommend Dana Cole, and you must check out the new location, they did an awesome job!! more

Stylists looked and acted like college students rather than experienced professionals. For the prices that they charge, you would expect a more chic atmosphere. The stylist who cut my hair didn't seem to have any idea of what is fashionable...and to top it off, kept burning my scalp with the hair dryer. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the shampoo girl was chomping away on a piece of gum the entire time she was washing my hair...I kept thinking it was going to drop into the sink.\r \r In all fairness to them, maybe I'm being a little harsh. I've just always preferred my stylists to be stylish and sophisticated. After all, aren't they supposed to help their clients decide what the right look is for them? IF YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE A CHIA PET THEN I'D RECOMMEND DANA COLE IN WAPPINGERS FALLS. Please ladies, don't waste your time there. I had my hair cut very badly by this incompetent blonde & then when I went back to her she had a major attitude. This other petite blonde tried to correct this bad cut but my hair still doesn't look right. I was going to have extensions put in my hair but I'll just wait it out. DON'T GO THERE!!! THEY SHOULD CUT HEDGES, NEVER MIND HAIR!!! PERSONALLY I'D LIKE TO TAKE THESE TWO BIMBOS TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO PAY FOR EXTENSIONS BUT I'M SURE THEY BARELY MAKE A LIVING WITH THE KIND OF HAIRCUTS THEY GIVE. \r It is now February 2008 & as my hair grows out it looks so CHOPPIE. I complained to the owner & little did I know she was the other Blonde who cut the top of my hair!! Honey, I'd consider a new line of work! \r For anyone who is reading this my hair is about 1 & a half inches short on one side, about 1 inch shorter on the right side by my ears & about 1.5 inches shorter at the nape of my neck on the right side. \r THE WORST HAIRCUT ON RECORD FOR ME!!! If I had the time I'd take them to court but being able to vent online & alert others is good enough. This hair cut has delayed me in taking new headshots for my business promos.
