I started my Journey with Heidi Conley back in February of 2013! I came in with professionally bleached hair that looked terrible! I needed help and I thought I may even want to go a little darker and more natural. Well I did some searching and found Heidi Conley who is know for ombre and Balayage hairstyles. She did an amazing job at giving my hair a beautiful ombre color that only gets better with each visit. At my most recent visit, I wanted to play with some balayage highlights and so I ended up with a beautiful ""Sombre"" ( A softer ombre) hair color with just the right amount of balayage highlights! It is perfect for me and really looks great! She does a great job at making sure your hair color works with your skin color. I am sooo glad I found Heidi at Salon Sabeha!! more

I have been going to Salon Sabeha to have my hair done for about 6 years. All of the stylists are simply amazing and I would never go anywhere else.\r \r 2 years ago I decided I wanted to try out something different with my hair, and called to request an appointment for ""peek a boo"" highlights as my mother calls them. Heidi Conley, an amazing woman who I've known for years, recommended that I try balayage, a type of coloring that involves painting sections of the hair freehand rather than using foils or a streaking cap. It creates the most beautiful, natural, and sun-kissed look. I have had 4 sessions with Heidi since, and the balayage only looks more beautiful each time. Heidi is seriously an artist, and gives your hair the utmost attention. \r \r Today, I went in for an ombré color. I wanted a subtle, grown out look and Heidi did it perfectly. She is an expert in balayage and ombré, and I highly recommend her! Heidi is talented and will always take her time and give you exactly what you want. Katy Berounsky saved my hair! Toward the end of August I decided to get hair extensions put in my short hair. I've never had long hair so I was looking for a drastic change. I found a reputable salon in Manchester and had individual extensions put in. Within a few weeks they started falling out..with my hair attached to them! The woman assured me this was totally normal...well... by the time I found Katy I had lost 52 of them and feared the worst. Now...I'm turning 40 this year so this was a big deal for me...Anyway. Katy took as many hours as necessary (which took a long time) to remove the awful extensions. What I ended up with was two completely bald spots on each side of my head behind my hairline by my ears. Which was actually (and sadly) better than I thought would be the result. (Let me clarify those were from the ones that fell out, not from Katy taking them out) Katy recommended Platinum Seamless Hair Extensions, perfect solution. I told her to order what she needed I had to get my hair fixed. I scheduled an appointment later in the week and actually ended up calling her to see if they could do a rush on the order so she could put them in sooner. Two days later I sat in her chair and she installed them. They are remarkable! I absolutely can't say enough about them. Katy took her time to ensure that she placed them in the perfect spots to hide the bald spots and other problem areas. I commend her for all the time she put into my hair. She's the first stylist I have ever met that is that dedicated to doing a literally 'perfect' job for her client. She wasn't happy unless I was. \r The first thing my husband said that night when I got home was how soft they were and that he could run his fingers through my hair again. AND that I looked YEARS younger...Not only is Katy the best stylist I've ever had, she has also perfected time travel.:)\r In all seriousness, I've had them about a month now and I am walking around today with luxurious locks that land about 1/2 way down my back and she did such a wonderful job blending them absolutely no one knows. Except the people that ask for my drivers license...they are really confused. \r In the past month Katy installed the extensions, gave me a cut, color and style. I am on my second set of Platinum Seamless Hair Extensions and absolutely love them! I had always been intrigued and wanted hair extensions, but had heard the horror stories about how they damage your hair, take 8 hours to put in and are very expensive. My experience was nothing like that!\r I found Salon Sebeha through a web search and set up a consultation with Erica Jones. Erica is extremely knowledgeable about hair extensions having done the hairlocs extensions and Platinum Seamless and recommended to me the Platinum Seamless (she actually is a trainer on Platinum Seamless now). She made me feel very at ease during the consulatation and explained everything that is involved with having them. The Platinum Seamless basically work by making a sandwich around very little pieces of your own hair and the extensions stick to each other. I was very skeptical that they would stay because they are basically being glued to each other in your own hair, but Erica reassured me that yes they actually stay, do not damage your hair, and take about an hour to put in. Yes- an hour! And that I could have some control over the cost because you are actually charged by the sandwich. I decided to do it during the consultation and booked my appointment.\r During my appointment Erica took the time to explain thoroughly how to care for my extensions as she put them in and gave me the special shampoo, conditioner, and brush to care for them. She also gave me her cell number to call or text if I had any questions after. Talk about service!\r I immediatley loved the extensions! They added volume to my thin-ish hair and looked completely natural. Matter of fact most people commented on how good my hair looked but had no idea I had extensions unless I told them. \r I am extremely active- I work out sometimes twice a day and I found them extermely easy to care for. In fact after they were taken out (I went 14 weeks with them in). My hair was actually HEALTHIER! I found that I didn't have to wash my hair everyday (normally I have to because it looks greasy if I don't) but for some reason with the extensions I didn't need to. I loved them so much that I got a second set 2 weeks later!\r more

Heidi Conley has been my hair stylist for 5 years and has always done an amazing job.\r \r Almost 2 years ago she told me about a new coloring/highlighting tecnique she was learning and asked if I wanted to try it. Knowing how talented Heidi is and what a great job she has always done on my hair I was happy to trust her to try Balayage. \r \r I have now had 6 Balayage sessions with Heidi and I could not be more pleased with the result. Not only does my hair look great and the highlights very natural because of the layering effect of the painting tecnique my hair grows out too look more natural instead of with chunky roots which means less frequent appointments which is great for my schedule and my budget!\r \r I would highly recommend the Balayage tecnique to anyone looking for a beautiful natural look and if you do decide to try it out Heidi Conley is the stylist to go to. Heidi Conley has been my hair stylist since 2002. Today, marked my 60th visit! Heidi did a Balayage color treatment for me. She's 60 for 60, or batting a thousand (as the Sox fans would say!) but her talent with my Balayage application should earn her extra points! Heidi continues to train and practice the most current styles; to which she now adds a professional Balayage certification from L'Oreal (a trusted Balayage source for Balayage training and products). Her dedication and passion for the hair coloration process make it easy for me to see how she became an expert in the technique of Balayage, and how I am now a direct beneficiary. After trying various ""Barber Shops"" around the Seacoast, a friend recomended Kathryn at Salon Sabeha. I've been going there for about a year now, she is very talented & always provides an excellent haircut.\r The building is easy to find & has plenty of parking, unlike many in downtown.... They always call the day before to remind you too, which is great for a guy who travels all the time. I wanted to take a moment and share an amazing experience I had getting my hair done by Erica Jones at Salon Sabeha. I found Erica through the Hairlocs website, and I'm so glad I did! I had another kind of extensions and was just not completely satisfied with them. Before I even met with Erica she was giving me incredible customer service by answering all of my questions and getting back to me every time I contacted her. When I met with her the first time her warmth and professionalism convinced me that I made the right choice. She spent time with me, talking and LISTENING and really was eager to make me completely happy. When my appointment came I sat in her chair and she treated me like I was the most important client she has (Aren't I?) :) with a glass of wine and some good conversation it felt like a fun night out instead of a hair appointment! The hair and the color was amazing but it's nothing without being able to put it in and blend it with my hair for a natural result. She gave me the most beautiful head of hair you can imagine. She took her time and probably could have charged me more because she took out my existing extensions but was very fair; it was obvious that my happiness was very important to her. I am THRILLED. She is amazing, and I highly recommend her for not only her talent, but more importantly the customer service she provides. more

Kathryn cuts a man's head with a level of precision I've never seen before. I have been going to Salon Sabeha since it opened and I love going there for a relaxing, warm, and friendly atmosphere. Heidi Conley has been my hairdresser for many years and she really listens to your ""hair needs"" and does a fantastic job! I went to Heidi to get my hair highlighted and she advised me of a new technique called Belayage. Knowing her great expertise in color I said let's do it. I also said I wanted to look like Jennifer Anniston who uses this technique on her hair. Well, low and behold if you blacked out my face it sure did look as good as Jen's. I went to a party that weekend and everyone kept commenting on how great my hair looked, yet they couldn't quite pinpoint what the difference was. It looks so natural, that yes, it's true only your hairdresser knows for sure! Love it! more

I heard about Salon Sabeha through a friend who had gone there and more specifically had seen Kathryn Berounsky to get Great Length Hair Extensions put in. I had been looking for an alternative to clip in extensions and heard Kathryn did a great job putting them in and the Salon was a comfortable, fun atmosphere. I've now had my extensions in for a month and I LOVE THEM!! It's the greatest investment I've ever made. I used to travel to Rhode Island (I'm in Londonderry, NH) to get Hairlocs extensions. Now I have Erica! In Portsmouth,NH- what a hidden gem. The salon itself isn't the snooty kind; in fact, they are the nicest group of professional stylists I know. My hair is fine and thin, but bc of Hairlocs extensions,you would never guess. No surgery nec, and I look 10 years younger, NK. At a party last year, I revealed my secret to a woman I've known socially for some 6 years-turned out she was a hair sylist. Well, she NEVER knew and was tempted to get trained herself... I also can't say enough about Erica making my appointment all about me- that's why it's called a service! I'm sure you've been to a salon where they make you feel you don't measure up, or worse, they are more interested in each other/themselves than you. Not here, not Salon Sabeha, not Erica. I have been getting my hair done from Heidi for years and have always really liked the way she uses highlights / foils. I've been getting balayage treatments for several months now and it just keeps getting better. My husband even noticed w/out my saying a word, as have several of my friends. Salon Sabeha was recommended to me from several of my friends. I just moved back to the Portsmouth area from Boston, MA.
