Just about a month ago I had my hair colored and cut by Daunya at salon purple, the color is fantastic and so is the cut I will be going back to Salon Purple to see Daunya very soon, make sure you ask for her, she has also has been cutting my husband hair and it looks great too. Wow, I read the other reviews on here and it looks like I wasn't the only one who liked Michael. The salon itself was wonderful, great environment, very relaxing, everyone is so friendly and good at what they do. I personally used to get my hair cut by anyone but until Michael cut and colored my hair. I now know for a FACT that I'll never go to anyone else! From the shampoo to the cut, color, and style it was a magnificent experience. After sitting in his chair and telling him the style and colors I wanted, he told me my face shape and how he was going to cut my hair to compliment it. He let me know which colors would compliment my skin color too. In short, my hair turned out absolutely flawless. more

Usually I don't trust anyone to cut my hair the way I want it to. Michael has cut my hair several times and I LOVE it. He knew exactly what I wanted and did it, he is an excellent hairstylist and very talented. Every time he cuts my hair I'm satisfied, which usually with other hairstylists I've gone to it never turned out the way I wanted it to. He gives excellent service and 100% satisfaction. I dont just let anyone do my hair. I am extremely picky. I made an appointment with Michael who has been doing my hair for about a year now. He recently joined the staff at Salon purple. He is awesome with color. He listened to what i wanted and asked questions. It was all about me. The atmosphere there is extremely friendly. Michael did an awesome job on my hair. The color looks great and the cut is fantastic. I got the best makeover ever., Im so happy with the results. The mood in the salon is not pushy at all. Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgable of their products. I felt like I could ask about their products without feeling like they would push them on me. It was just an all around wonderful experience and I left there feeling pampered and beautiful. If you are needing color and not sure what direction you want to go, Michael has a gift. I am very picky when it comes to who does my hair, so when I was looking for a new sylist, I was a bit nervous. When I came to Salon Purple I was immediately pleased with the very welcoming, friendly staff and fun theme of the salon. I made an appointment with Erica who is FANASTIC at what she does! She took the time to listen to and understand what I wanted. She also made some suggestions on what would look good and products to use to achieve the look I want. She wasn't pushy on her suggestions, but was able to give her proffesional opinion to take the look I wanted to another level of greatness! My hair turned out better than I pictured and I am always completely satisfied with it each time I go in for a touch up. Another big thing that won me over with her, is the fact that she has gone out of her way to accommodate me since my schedule isn't the easiest to work with. She doesn't want you to leave without being completely satisfied with your hair and will always ensure that you love it! The owner is also such a nice person and seems to make sure all of the clients in the salon satisfied. I am so so GLAD I found this place and would recommend it to everyone! more

My hair is not a simple task to do... it is long, wavy, and red, naturally. Erica at Salon Purple is amazing at making it beautiful, both with color AND cut/style. I have been to many who do not know how to work with my natural hair color and I have walked away disappointed. Erica has been the best stylist and has a great attention to detail when it comes to color. I always leave feeling beautiful and hair feeling FANTASTIC! Erica at Salon Purple is the best stylist I've ever had, hands down. Her instinct about color & cut is flawless. I originally went in with boring, style-less hair & she picked the exact right color for me & put in the most awesome highlights & lowlights that played up the great cut she gave me. The next time I went in, I was ready for more adventure & she went bold with fire engine red peek-a-boo color. It wowed me & my friends and family! Since then, we've changed my color drastically a few times but thanks to the excellent Pravana products, my hair has suffered NO damage at all!! I'm going tomorrow to get red & green streaks for Christmas & I'm really looking forward to the experience. Salon Purple is such a comfortable place to go that it's always a treat. I moved to Fort Worth from Virginia about a year and a half ago and was DESPERATE to find a salon that I could trust. I have naturally curly hair, so it was also super important to me to find someone that knew how to handle curls (i.e. I wouldn't leave looking like an 80's prom queen). I found all that and MORE in Salon Purple!! The owner Terry is phenomenal when it comes to both cuts and color. I've had more compliments on my hair in the past year and a half than I've had in the rest of my life combined! In Virginia, I went to Quidad certified salons specializing in curly cuts...while they were good, they can't hold a candle to Terry. Go to Salon Purple, you won't be disappointed!!! more

i went to Salon Purple for the first time this week and saw kristy , she is so knowledgeable in color and cuts.kristy took the time to listen to my needs for every day hair. I met Terry 8 years ago and got reaquinted 2 years ago. He has been cutting my hair ever since and I love it. I usually go a long time between cuts so I appreciate his patience with me and his willingness to start over on the look everytime. more
