Mckenze Manning is the best esthetician I have ever been to, hands down. Other salons and estheticians in the Utah Valley area have been overpriced, done a poor job, or took the better part of my day to get the job done. more

Alisa is Awesome! 4/3/2012

I have been getting haircuts from Alisa for awhile now and I am always impressed afterward. It always looks good. You can tell she really cares about who's hair she is cutting and about doing her best. She is also really easy to talk to, which makes the hair cutting process more enjoyable. The thing I enjoy the most about her is that she really knows what looks good. Whenever I don't really know what I want I can trust her opinion and since of style. (which is great for me, since I have a hard time knowing what looks good) I would recommend her to everyone I know. In fact I already have done it to a few. more

Betsy is the BEST! 12/24/2011

After my first time at Salon on the Ave, I am sold! Betsy is kind, nice, very conversational, and she does EXACTLY what you ask for on the cut and style. She is very professional and does an amazing job managing and running the salon. Very good service. Just call ahead for an appointment and definitely ask for Betsy. I am going there every time to get my hair cut. more

Ashley is amazing!!! 10/13/2011

I have been going to Ashley for several years. I even take my girls to her as well. I have one daughter that is half black and so her hair can be difficult at times. Yet every time I need someone to do her hair I take her to Ashley, for cuts or colors she does an amazing job. more

Michelle is an amazing talent! 3/1/2011

I get compliments on my hair almost daily! I even had a neighbor knock on my door to know about my hair! Michelle's cuts update my look every time I go in. And based on the compliments my hair must look even better than I think! My hair grows fast, is crazy thick, short (now) and Michelle helped me go totally grey. I LOVE my hair!! Here is something I've never noticed with any other stylist. Because I have short hair, and it grows so fast I could easily need to see Michelle every 4 weeks. However, her cuts are so....perfect(?!) as my hair grows out it looks like a fresh cut at every stage. I amazes me! I've never been happier! I'm from LA and over the years have paid big $$ for haircuts. Michelle is the best stylist I've ever had! more

Amanda Levie has done my hair on several occasions. Everytime I have been COMPLETELY satisfied. She is very professional but most of all, friendly. She is current on the latest styles and trends and knows exactly how I like my hair done. I love going to her and would recommend her to everyone. Come get your hair done by her.......you won't regret it. more

I FOUND THE BEST STYLIST - SABRINA 4/1/2010

A while ago I was into this salon and SABRINA gave me a great cut and style... and she fixed my bad color. I loved what she did. And she is so nice and friendly, and very professional. But, HERE'S THE NEWS... She has moved to a new salon. She is now at HAVEN Salon!... over on 100 S. It took me a little time to find her. But I am sure glad that I did. She was so happy to see me when I needed my hair cut last week. Again, she did a wonderful job! I'm so glad I found her again!!! more

Splendid Salon With at Least 1 Great Stylist 6/26/2009

The stylist really took good care of me. I told her i had a friend in my ward try to color my hair and really messed it up. I got in to the salon a little after 5 and didn't leave until after 7:30. They are normally closed at 6. I appreciated the extra time she took to get me happy with my appearance. I will definitely go there next time the first time, and not try to get a special deal from a ""friend"" that doesn't know what they're doing. They're prices were very fair and the customer service was first rate. My stylists name was Sabrina Pros: Great Downtown location, Great Stylist, neat atmosphere Cons: None so far. more

My color was fantastic 5/14/2009

I had highlight done and got a free haircut. I loved it and the stylist was really nice. My haircut was really good too. I'm a student, and so money is tight. I really liked the deal where I got my haircut for free. Pros: I love my summer highlights. Cons: Downtown, parking more

Great Pedicure and Makeup 11/6/2008

I really liked the service I received at Salon on the Avenue in Provo. Everyone was really nice and I had a great pedicure. I also tried their makeup or makeover service just to try something new and I really liked the results. I definitely will go back. Pros: Great Services and Prices. I felt like I was in a really end salon, but didn't have to pay as much as I thought it was worth. Cons: None so far. more

Best Haircuts I've ever had 8/19/2008

I have been to Salon on the Avenue several times and have had 3 different stylists cut my hair. It always looks good and they make sure I get what I want. For the quality of the stylists I feel like it is a bargain for the price I've paid. I would highly recommend them to any guys out there. Pros: Easy to find, Great stylists, Cons: Parking can be hard, but usually I find a close spot more

Awful customer service 8/29/2007

I had scheduled my appointment weeks in advance, and in the middle of my pedicure she just stood up and left without telling me where she was going. After she'd been gone for over 20 minutes, I asked one of the many girls standing around where she had gone, I was told that a friend had called in that morning for an ""emergency appointment."" They ""wished they could help me, but I was ""so-and-so's"" customer. I had to wait over 40 minutes for this girl to do an eyebrow waxing and ring up her customer. (Why did it take 40 minutes?!) The worst part was that there were several girls just standing around doing nothing, and they all kept wanting to talk about my wedding, but no one would finish doing my nails. I was given no discount and no apology. more

Decidedly going back, Definitely recommended 1/9/2006

I'm always nervous to get my hair cut by someone new, but Jessica was great. She knew a lot about hair in general. She wasn't the chatty ""your-new-best-friend"" type, but she did talk to me about my hair and helped me decide what was best for me. It was inexpensive ($20) but if you ask for Jessica, it's $28, it's worth it, she helped me figure out how to best spend my money on product and even said, ""I don't think that one is worth the money for you"". They have discounts for return visits, but even if they didn't, I'd still go back. It's not the coziest place, staff- or atmosphere-wise, but I still like the look of the salon, kind of a posh set-up in a warehouse, very movieset-esque. Overall I'm not smitten by it, but I'm decidedly going back, and I'd definetly recommend it. more
